Greedy villainess Willa Conden

Willa Conden (Melissa Marsala) is the hidden villainess from "Live to Regret," episode 7.06 of Without a Trace (airdate November 11, 2008). She is a friend and co-worker of bank manager Erin MacNeil.

In the episode, Erin had stolen $100,000 from the bank, attempting the use the money for her biological son, only to later decide to lend it her former lover, Nathan York, after learning of her son's tragic passing. After the plans fell through, Erin approached Willa to help her transfer the money back to the bank, only for Willa to refuse, stating that such a transaction would draw red flags and that Erin would be caught. However, the episode's progression would later reveal that Willa was--in actuality--a greedy and self-serving villainess.

After learning about Erin's thefts beforehand, Willa turned heel and began piggybacking on them, stealing money for herself and placing her ill-gotten funds in her own separate account. Her words of warning to Erin were out of concern for herself rather than her friend, as an investigation would most likely reveal Willa's embezzlement. After Erin left, the evil Willa phoned her boyfriend, Robbie, leading to Robbie abducting Erin to protect his villainous lover.

Vivian Johnson's investigation led to Willa's fingerprints being found on the computer she used to steal the money, and during her interrogation, Willa confessed to the embezzlement, while stating that the kidnapping was entirely Robbie's idea. Willa later helped police rescue Erin and capture Robbie; after which she was arrested herself for her greedy actions and her involvement in Erin's abduction.
