Redeemed villainess Vanessa Kominski
Vanessa Kominski (Louise Naubert) is a redeemed villainess from "One Wrong Move," episode 2.10 of Flashpoint (original airdate September 25, 2009; U.S. airdate June 4, 2010). She is a college professor and the wife of Sheldon Kominski.
Vanessa and Sheldon's backstory revealed that the couple was once part of an eco-terrorist group known as PLC back in the 1970s, and they participated in a number of bombings connected to their cause. The couple was arrested in 1980, and they had since abandoned their extremist ways, later giving birth to a daugther, Sara, and eventually becoming professors entering the episode's events.
Vanessa and Sheldon were interviewed at the college when a series of eco-terrorist bombings were committed, and while they were suspected of going back to their villainous ways, they pointed SRU to the direction of their former cohort, Rafer Wilcox, who confrimed himself as the mastermind before committing suicide. It was also revealed that he had an accomplice in the form of Sara, and upon learning this, Vanessa expressed disbelief before she and Sheldon confronted their villainous daughter at the campus--which was another target--before witnessing Sara's arrest.
