Sophia (Life Lessons with Luis)

Sophia is the main villainess from Brazilian Girl Marries Guy for Green Card: Backfires!!!, a short film released by Life Lessons with Luis (release date April 8, 2021).

Sophia is the girlfriend of main protagonist David, but as the film's opening revealed, Sophia was planning to manipulate David into marrying her to become a U.S. citizen and obtain David's wealth. Her villainy was revealed during a conversation with her friend, which also uncovered that the couple was celebrating their one-month anniversary on the following day, which saw David about to embrace Sophia, who rebuffed him. Sophia claimed to David that she was saving herself for marriage, and informed him that he wasn't allowed to kiss her until he married her, adding that David should prove his love for her by proposing.

David informed Sophia that they had only been together for a month and that marriage was too soon, and afterwards, Sophia left and changed into her lingerie, doing so in a further attempt to entice David into marrying her. Sophia changed her clothes again and was set to leave, while informing David that there would be a lot of men willing to marry her. At that moment, David stopped Sophia and proposed to her, using his late mother's ring as part of the proposal, with Sophia happily accepting.

A week later, after David left for work, the evil Sophia boasted to her friend about her upcoming marriage to David, while revealing that she didn't really love him. Regarding the ring, the villainess planned to sell it for $500,000, and also planned to divorce David and obtain a financial settlement. It was also revealed that Sophia was seeing another man--Paul--on the side, with the villainess commenting that she would finally have a real man in her life, and even laughing over tricking David into believing that she was a virgin. Unbeknownst to Sophia, David overheard everything, and afterwards, he called Sophia and spoke about the ring, telling his wicked fiancee that she deserved a bigger and better ring, and added that he rented a large mansion for the two of them.

David told Sophia to give him the ring so he could reset it, while also telling Sophia to pack her things, as they were leaving that night. However, as Luis Mercado's narration revealed, David was planning to get his mother's ring back, and also drove Sophia straight to the immigration office, as David informed the villainess that he had found out about her deception and her greedy scheme. Afterwards, David sent Sophia to the office, resulting in her off-screen deportation.
