The villainous Mrs. Diaz
Mrs. Diaz (Natalia Cruz) is the villainess from Bratty Daughter Disrespects Janitor. Then She Learns an Important Lesson in Karma, a short film released by SoulSnack (release date August 11, 2021). She is the mother of Josefina "Joey" Diaz, who was auditioning for a commercial.
The mother-daughter pair arrived at the casting office early, with the opening showing Mrs. Diaz sternly preparing Joey for the commercial, while also insisting that her daughter should refer to herself by her full first name, Josefina. She later charmed the casting director, Debbie Lynch, before helping Joey recite her lines for the commercial. It was at this moment that a man, originally introduced as a janitor, was observing the duo, and when Mrs. Diaz noticed this, she rudely ordered the man to stop "staring" at Joey.
The man stated that he was observing, only for the callous Mrs. Diaz to tell him that there was "a toilet that needed cleaning," with Joey joining her mother in teasing the janitor, which included Mrs. Diaz laughing as Joey kicked away the mop bucket. At that moment, Debbie approached the pair and informed them that she would not be auditioning Joey, stating her and Mrs. Diaz's conduct towards the man, named Jacob, as the reason.
Joey asked who Jacob was, only for Debbie to reveal Jacob as her assistant, who recommended Joey. The villainous mother-daughter duo voiced their shock and, with Joey stating that she didn't know while her mother begged Debbie to reconsider, only for Debbie to inform Joey that she hoped that she learned to treat everyone with respect. In response, the evil Mrs. Diaz lashed out at Debbie before dragging Joey away, but afterwards, Joey apologized to Debbie, and accepted that she wouldn't be allowed to audition, while being told to choose wisely regarding how to treat others. As for Mrs. Diaz, she again dragged her daughter away, insisting to Joey that she did nothing wrong and didn't have to apologize, while ordering Debbie not to "lecture" her daughter.
