Villainous conspirator Ellie
Ellie (Cambrie Schroder) is a villainess from the 2019 Lifetime film, A Deadly Dance (alternately titled, Dance Night Obsession; airdate August 23, 2019). She is one of the dancers on the TV show, Dance Night in America, which has Kate Higgins (the film's main protagonist) as its lead dancer.
As shown in the film, Ellie maintains a close friendship with fellow dancer Shawn Wilson, who had her ambitions of becoming the show's new lead dancer. As revealed later in the film, Ellie became a willing conspirator in Shawn's heel turn and plans to sabotage Kate, as she intentionally handed Shawn the key to Kate's dressing room, leading to Shawn entering and placing a spider inside Kate's clothes. Their plan resulted in Kate being bitten by the spider and falling ill, after which Kate left the show.
Shawn became the lead dancer, with Ellie as her second-in-command, but after security guard Tony found video of Shawn entering Kate's room, he confronted Ellie--who Tony was in a relationship with. Ellie confessed to handing the key to Shawn, while claiming that the plan was all Shawn's idea and stating that they were only intending to make Kate sick enough to leave the show. Ellie's fate remained unknown after her reveal.
