Redeemed villainess Danica Lynch
Danica Lynch (Lana Ujević) is the hidden redeemed main villainess from The Librarians: The Next Chapter's first episode, "And the Deadly Drekavac" (airdate May 25, 2025).
Introduction[]
Danica Lynch was introduced as the manager of a Serbian heavy metal group known as Gregor's Hammer, with Vikram Chamberlain (an 18th century Librarian who ended up traveling into the present day) and fellow Librarians Lysa Pascal and Connor Green, along with the assigned Guardian, Charlie Cronwall, encountering Danica as the group was hunting down a creature known as a Drekavac. The group's appearance was due to a descendant of Jakim Lynch (a victim of the Drekavac) being in the warehouse that the group arrived at, and it was there that Danica mentioned the group's lead singer was named Winslow Lynch, and they were set to perform at a packed house later that evening.

Danica's reveal as a Drekavac
That night, the group was searching for Winslow, with Vikram suspecting that he was possessed by the Drekavac and could turn the ongoing crowd into the creatures. A confrontation with Winslow sees a bandmate approach the group and tell them that they weren't allowed backstage without a pass, and he later suggested that Winslow's sister let him in. Lysa was stunned to learn that Winslow has a sister, and it's at that moment that the group suddenly sees Danica standing behind them. Danica turned heel by suddenly shifting into the Drekavac, which is followed by Vikram splashing holy water at the villainess, which has no effect. The group escaped to the van and drove off, with Danica pursuing them to the aqueduct.
The climax saw the evil Danica in her monstrous form attempting to attack the group of Librarians, only for Connor to splash the original holy water from Sava Lake at the creature, which weakened Danica. Lysa stopped Charlie from killing the creature, reminding her that Danica's trapped inside, and at that moment, Vikram realized that the Drekavac's legend (the creature being the lost soul unbaptized child roaming in sorrow) could be used to save Danica. Vikram used the creature tears to baptize the spirit, which ended up leaving Danica and freeing her from being possessed.
