Villainous conspirator Cassidy
Cassidy (Jordyn Aurora Aquino) is the redeemed secondary villainess from the 2020 Lifetime film, Secret Life of a Celebrity Surrogate (airdate September 19, 2020). She is the assistant to actress Ava Von Richter.
Cassidy approached main protagonist Olivia Bolton for a "chance of a lifetime"-type position; serving as a surrogate for Ava, who was introduced as a woman looking to have a child of her own with husband Hayden Von Richter. Olivia eventually becomes pregnant, though she began having concerns regarding the couple's strange behavior, voicing them to Cassidy. Cassidy originally appeared to be responsive to Olivia's concerns, but when Olivia discussed the couple again, Cassidy started to lash out at Olivia; reminding her that she signed a non-disclosure agreement and telling her to continue her position and keep quiet.
Cassidy was shown alongside the Von Richters during a press conference regarding Olivia's disappearance, which saw Ava denigrate Olivia's character, and later completed her heel turn following Olivia's return, as she voiced her agreement with Ava's statements that Olivia was untrustworthy and ungrateful. Olivia ended up locked in an isolated room as punishment, and later on, Cassidy again took Olivia on a walk, admonishing her and ordering Olivia to do what she was told. Olivia claimed to Cassidy that she needed to go to the restroom, which was Olivia's plan to escape; though Cassidy caught Olivia and placed her back in the room, this time shackled to the bed.
Once Olivia experienced labor pains, Cassidy heard Olivia and helped her escape the house, with Ava pursuing them afterwards. Cassidy revealed her reasons for her devotion to Ava: her mother was ill and Ava helped pay for medication to save her, but she feared that her mother's life would be a risk if she didn't comply with Ava's demands. After Ava held both women at gunpoint, even more was revealed: Ava was fully infertile and Olivia was carrying her own baby, and it was uncovered that Cassidy had known the truth about Ava and enlisted Olivia as part of Ava's plan to impregnate her and take her baby. Cassidy expressed her remorse for her actions, and after Olivia defeated Ava, it was revealed that Cassidy would testify against Ava.
