Redeemed villainess Aunt Mae
Aunt Mae (Nancy De Foster) is a hidden villainess from Father Scams Daughter Out Of Dream House, Watch What Happens, a short film released by Vid Chronicles (release date August 3, 2021).
Mae is the maternal aunt of main protagonists Tiana and Justice; with the former of the pair shown on the phone with her father, Diedrich, who was receiving rent money from Tiana. The conversation revealed that the money was sent due to Diedrich getting her a house; however, Tiana was later encountered by Justice, who was supposed to be on a trip to the Maldives. Justice provided a reveal that shocked Tiana: she had been scammed out of her money by Diedrich, who falsely claimed that he was getting her a house in the Maldives, which turned out to be a rundown hut.
As Justice also revealed, Mae turned heel by colluding with her brother-in-law in the scheme, with the villainess feigning ignorance to the scam during her talk with Justice. The girls' confrontation with Diedrich (after Tiana closed their father's account) revealed that the evil Mae received a cut of the money as payment, with Diedrich himself stating that he owed money to Mae and that he needed to pay on his late wife's (Mae's sister and the girls' mother) house. It was during the climax that Mae appeared and confessed to her role in the scheme, after which Mae apologized to her nieces and voiced her shame in covering for Diedrich.
Mae completed her redemption by informing Tiana and Justice that she would put $3 million in each of their accounts, emphasizing that the money was only for her nieces. In response to Diedrich stating that he still needed to pay for the house, Mae revealed that her late sister's house was paid in full after the funeral, meaning that Diedrich's claim was false. After Diedrich voiced his remorse, Mae continued to apologize and state that her sister would have been disappointed in the way she and Diedrich treated the girls, after which Mae offered to drive Justice to her house.
