Tia (Terri J. Vaughn) is the main villainess from "Windy City Politics," episode 1.06 of Rel (airdate November 4, 2018).
Tia is the Chief of Staff for Alderman Willie Littles, and in the episode, Rel's brother, Nat, was hired to work at Littles' office, with Tia serving as Nat's boss. Tia is also a friend of Brittany, who warned Rel to not try to get a date with her, only for Rel to attempt to do so anyway--unsuccessfully. After being officially welcomed to the office by Littles, Nat expressed his elation over his new job, while Tia responds in kind.
However, Tia began turning heel when she suddenly made a seductive pass towards Nat during her response. She established herself as a villainess and a sexual harasser with her actions, as Nat was shocked and uncomfortable with her pass towards him. Tia's heel persona was cemented when she continued to plague Nat, as she slapped Nat's rear end and later fondled his private parts later one night after they had drinks together, leading to Nat informing Rel and their father about what Tia had been doing to him. On the following day, Nat confronted Tia and told her that she had to cease her seductive passes towards her. When the villainess refused, Nat decided to give in, only to be caught by Littles as he was removing his shirt. Tia callously attempted to accuse Nat of sexual harassment, leading to Nat losing his job.
After Brittany found out about Nat losing his job due to Tia's actions, she confronted her friend in her office. In response to Brittany's indignation, the evil Tia stated that she enjoyed letting men know that she was more powerful than them, and she justified her villainous actions by saying that men had been doing the same thing to women for years and got away with it. After Littles hears the women arguing, Brittany demanded that Nat get his job back, threatening to claim that Littles turned a blind eye to Tia's harassment towards Nat. The episode ends without revealing Tia's fate.
