The evil and greedy Tamsin Pless
Tamsin Pless (Georgina Reilly) is the main villainess from "Heart Burned," episode 1.05 of Rebel (airdate May 13, 2021). She is the ex-girlfriend of lawyer Luke Chapman.
The episode began with a salacious video of Luke being sent to everyone, including (but not limited to) Annie "Rebel" Flynn Ray Bello and her husband, Grady Bello, Lana Ray and her husband Rick, and Cassidy Ray (Rebel's daughter with former husband--and Lana's brother--Benji Ray). The video was also sent to various public officials, and it resulted in Luke being forced to resign, though later on, Luke revealed that Tamsin sent the video in a callous act of revenge over Luke ending their relationship.
Luke, along with Cass and Lana, met with Tamsin, where it was revealed that they had known each other since childhood back in England, though Tamsin accused Luke of forcing her to give up her life in the UK to remain with him in the States, and lashed out at Luke for breaking up with him. Tamsin added that she needed a business visa to remain in the country, and asked Luke for money to open a yoga studio, adding that Luke owed him. When he didn't, Tamsin released the videos as payback.
Luke explained to Tamsin that she was ruining his livelihood and that he couldn't help her financially if he was out of a job, only for the villainess to mock his plight and continue to lash out at him. When asked by Lana if she wanted money or revenge, the evil Tamsin stated that she wanted both, and ordered all three of them to pay her under the threat of releasing even more racy videos of Luke if they didn't comply. Though Luke was angry at his ex-girlfriend, he admitted that she did help him become a lawyer and that he wasn't vengeful. A look into Tamsin's social media revealed that she was also a feminist, and it was at that moment that Cass and Lana decided to use that against Tamsin.
Later in the episode, Tamsin was shown a video of Cass and Luke exposing her villainous actions and denouncing her as a feminist due to the fact that she sent revenge porn of Luke. The hypocritical villainess ordered the group to take down the video and begged Luke to help her, adding that the video could ruin her career, only to be reminded that she was doing the same thing to Luke. Cass informed Tamsin that the video hadn't been uploaded and she ordered Tamsin to hand over her phones and computer so all of her videos would be erased, and though Tamsin continued to argue that Luke owed her, she ended up acquiescing.
