The evil Shelly Davis
Shelly Davis (Christina Souza) is one of the main villainesses from "Those We Leave Behind," episode 4.04 of Magnum P.I. (airdate October 22, 2021). She is a lawyer and the wife of Steven Davis, as well as the mother of their teenage daughter, Amanda Davis.
Shelly was first shown with Amanda and a pair of her friends, as they were mourning the suicide of Ani Rogers, who was found hanging. While Amanda was introduced as a friend of Ani's, in actuality, she had betrayed Ani and planned to bully and humiliate her. Amanda's plan included making a bet with schoolmate Will, which centered on hooking up with Ani, though Will began to develop feelings for Ani as time went by. Amanda, in a fit of rage, sent video of herself and Will going over their bet to Ani, along with a message urging Ani to kill herself.
Ani broke up with Will and later took a high dose of Xanax, which belonged to Shelly, before hanging herself. Upon finding out about Amanda's role in Ani's suicide, Shelly turned heel and began covering up for her daughter, beginning with enlisting her client, Romeo Kekoa, to hack into Ani's social media and take it down. The villainess later colluded with Amanda to go after Collette, one of Amanda's friends, as part of their cover-up scheme, with Collette being found in her bathtub as part of her own suicide attempt until she was rescued by Thomas Magnum and Juliet Higgins, who had encountered Shelly and Amanda earlier in the episode.
After learning the truth from Roman, Magnum and Higgins visited the Davis household and revealed Amanda and Shelly's criminal actions, doing so in front of Steven. In response, the evil Shelly arrogantly denied the claims and told Amanda not to say anything due to the fact that Magnum and Higgins weren't cops, only for the pair to unveil saved video of Amanda and Will making the bet. As Steven voiced his shock, Shelly snarled at her husband and told him to be quiet, but with her and Amanda's actions revealed, Shelly was arrested, along with Amanda.
