The villainous Sharon Patterson
Sharon Patterson (Jaycie Dotin) is the main villainess from the 2021 Hallmark film, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Honeymoon, Honeymurder, the seventeenth film from the Aurora Teagarden series (airdate August 22, 2021).
Introduction[]
Sharon Patterson worked at Slocum Security, which was owned by Ross Slocum and had Cliff Minton as one of her superiors. Cliff was shot and killed on his boat in the film's opening, in the same area where the newly married Aurora Teagarden and Nick Miller were spending their "pre-honeymoon." Among the suspects was Slocum himself, with the film revealing that Cliff and Slocum were rumored to have colluded in the robbery of several of their wealthy clients, though the main suspect in the murder was Cliff's ex-wife, Terry Hall.
Regarding Sharon, she made a claim to Aurora and Aida Teagarden that Terry was unstable, even going as far as add a claim that Terry set fire to her house so Cliff wouldn't get it as part of his immense settlement. After Aurora and Lizzy Rankert caught Terry attempting to leave her house, and later discovered a gun in her drawer, the suspicion turned into a possible conclusion. However, Aurora suggested to Lizzy and chief Lynn Liggett-Smith that Terry may have been framed, with the added possibility that Terry's son, Jacob Hall, may have killed his stepfather, and Terry set up herself to cover for him.

However, after Lynn found a glass from a set of four in Terry's house, Aurora now believed that the frame job towards Terry was done prior to the murder, leading Aurora and Lizzy to head to Donald Heller's shop, where they found Terry voicing her belief that she was being set up. Terry received the keys to Donald's truck so she could pick up Jacob, but as Donald, Aurora, and Lizzy witnessed, Terry was confronted by a hooded figure holding her at gunpoint, with the very culprit revealed as Sharon.
Aurora, Lizzy, and later Nick rushed on the road to trap Sharon, who held all three and Terry at gunpoint, after which everything was revealed. As Terry stated, Sharon had a crush on Cliff, and at some point, Cliff asked Sharon to assist him on some of his illegal activities, with Sharon doing so believing that she and Cliff would end up together. However, when Sharon met with Cliff at his hotel room, she was informed that they could never be in a relationship, adding that it would be a threat to his immense alimony from the divorce. In addition, Sharon was asked by Cliff to break into Terry's home and get dirt on her, and after realizing that she had been used by Cliff, Sharon shot Cliff to death in a fit of rage.
The vengeful villainess took Terry's boat to commit the murder, doing so in an attempt to frame her. Later on, the evil Sharon attempted to kill Nick and Aurora from outside their home, only for Terry to arrive and call the police. During her confession, Sharon voiced her anger at Cliff for using her, but when Terry stated that Cliff used her as well, the villainess blamed Terry for making Cliff the way he was and fired a shot at her, only for Nick to tackle Terry out of protection. Her attempt to escape was thrwarted by Aurora, leading to Sharon being arrested and pleading guilty to her various crimes.
