Evil robber Scarlet
Scarlet is the main villainess from Mom Put a $1M Bounty on Me, a short story released by Story Time Animated (release date February 6, 2021).
Scarlet was introduced as the lone member and ringleader of a group of robbers appearing at a bank that was visited by main protagonist Sam and his mother.
The evil robber was shown holding Sam's mother in hostage once the police appeared, and it was during this point that the boy recognized the masked robber as a woman: noticing her red hair and ligth blue eyes. The villainess warned the police not to enter, threatening to kill Sam's mother; however, the officers entered and arrested the four other robbers, while Scarlet ended up getting away.
In the time that passed, Sam spent a lot of time with his parents, but later on, his mother was killed in a freak car accident. At some point after his first wife's death, Sam's father informed his son that he had met someone and was going to introduce her, with the protagonist voicing his approval of having a stepmother (stating through his narration that he needed a mother figure). However, once the day came, Sam was shocked to see that his new stepmother was the same woman from the robbery, as he had recognized her features and her voice. Sam's attempts to warn his father about the woman (officially introduced as Scarlet) were met with disbelief, leaving the boy to wonder why his stepmother was suddenly in a relationship with his father.
Later, while Sam was playing soccer, he was confronted and attacked by a man who informed him that he had been ordered to kill him. The man was arrested, but afterwards, a second man attempted the same thing, leading to his own arrest as well. During the second assassin's attempt, Sam saw a note fall out of the man's pocket and read the contents, which revealed that Scarlet had sent that hitman (as well as the previous one) to kill her stepson for a $1 million payout. The protagonist figured that his evil stepmother's motive was his knowledge of her criminal activities, and after the boy arrived at home, the evil woman facetiously greeted her stepson (all while flashing a sinister smile on her face).
In the story's climax, Sam planned to trap Scarlet into revealing everything, which included the protagonist wearing a hidden recording device and confronting the his psychotic stepmother over her actions. In response, the evil Scarlet stated to the boy that she had an obsession with being rich, and after her robbery was foiled, she decided to marry Sam's father so she could inherit his business. The villainess revealed that she was behind the "accident" that killed Sam's biological mother, and she planned to kill both her husband and stepson as well, right before she tied him to a chair and destroyed his recording device. However, Sam's father suddenly arrived at the house, and upon seeing his son tied up, he freed him and called the police (who arrested his second wife).
Sam's father stated that he had left his phone in the house, and his call to the neighbors ended with him learning about his son running in fear of his new stepmother, leading him to return at home early and suspect his second wife's intentions.
