Sarah's Mother

Sarah's and Roy's unnamed and callous mother

Sarah's and Roy's unnamed mother is a villainess from I Disappeared For Years to Get Back at My Parents, a short story released by Story Time Animated (release date June 19th, 2020). She is the mother of Sarah (the story main protagonist/narrator) and Roy (the story's minor villain).

As stated by Sarah herself, her parents continuously mistreated their 15-year-old daughter yet immensely favored her 8-year-old younger brother Roy, with the story's opening showing the woman scolding her daughter for practicing in playing the piano (stating that the "noise" was in the way of the child watching his favorite cartoon). In addition, the callous woman even threatened to smash the piano if her daughter didn't stop playing.

The protagonist was described as a bright and talented student in her high school while her brother was one of the worst students in his elementary school (and his behavior and hygiene were abhorrent). Despite this, their parents constantly condoned their son's bad behavior and lashed out at their daughter, including an incident where the Roy was bothering his older sister while the latter was doing her math homework. The spoiled brat smashed the girl's calculator, leading Sarah in ejecting her brother out of her room. Later on, the two evil parents screamed at their daughter for "mistreating" their son, and even after the protagonist explained herself, her callous mother stated that her daughter was an horrible sister and a bad example for her brother (who she claimed was trying to help her before grounding her and taking her phone for a month).

The girl vented over her abusive parents' verbal abuse to her best friend Brian, adding that her callous parents wouldn't even care if she was kidnapped. This led to the boy deciding to stage Sarah's kidnapping under the hopes that her parents would be worried over her and start appreciating her more, with Eli (Brian's older brother) and his friend Allen in on the plan (only asking for $300 in return). The plan was to take place on the following night during dinner, which saw Sarah's and Roy's mother flatly refuse her daughter's request for another helping (calling her selfish and stating that the child might want more). At that moment, the Mastermind and the rest of the gang entered in the house in masked disguises and wielding guns (with the protagonist recognizing Eli's voice). After tying up Sarah's parents and brother, Sarah's and Roy's father pleaded the robbers for their lives and stated that they could take whatever they want, but the group only took the girl (which was part of the plan).

The protagonist hung out at Eli's and Brian's house in glee over their plan (while relishing over an image of her abusive parents crying for her). She had planned to return at home after two days under the lying of having escaped. After a couple of days, Eli informed Sarah that her parents and brother were on TV, with the girl laughing over seeing her evil parents. However, when asked about the ordeal, Sarah's and Roy's evil mother stated that the robbers had stolen some money, a TV and Roy's Playstation (which wasn't true), adding that It was his favorite thing. Her equally evil husband stated that the robbers should be ashamed for making his son upset by taking his favorite thing. At that moment, Sarah was furious over the fact that her own parents not only lied and made fake accusations, but they ignored the one thing that was true: their daughter's kidnapping.

A dejected protagonist came to the belief that her parents truly didn't care that she was missing, that she could have been hurt or even killed. The girl later took up Allen's offer to move in with him and his younger sister. When she returned at home to pack her things, Sarah lashed out at her callous and abusive parents for treating her so horribly and for saying fake statements on TV, adding that she hopes that they would face the consequences for their actions before leaving, with the two evil parents remaining in silent and don't even try to stop her (and also leaving the story with the mistery of why they even had her in the first place).
