The evil Sara Kominski
Sara Kominski (Christine Horne) is a hidden villainess from "One Wrong Move," episode 2.10 of Flashpoint (original airdate September 25, 2009; U.S. airdate June 4, 2010). She is the daughter of college professors Vanessa and Sheldon Kominski.
Vanessa and Sheldon were once members of a terrorist group known as PLC, leading to their arrest in 1980. Sara's birth was a factor in the couple leaving the group, though after a pair of bombings, one of them at a construction site, the couple was suspected of returning to their extremist ways. During an interview, the couple mentioned their former cohort, Rafer Wilcox, possibly being involved, and a visit to Wilcox's home revealed that he masterminded the bombings. After Wilcox committed suicide, Jules Callaghan uncovered surveillance video of a woman purchasing batteries for the bombs, with Vanessa's ID used, only for the woman to be revealed as Sara.
The climax saw the Kominskis' college as another target, as well as the origins of Sara's collusion. As it turned out, Wilcox visited Sara two years prior and told her stories about the PLC, leading to Sara agreeing to collude with Wilcox in the bombings. The villainess bought the batteries and helped Wilcox build the bombs, and after seeing SRU, Sara attempted to escape, only to end up caught. In response to Vanessa's shock over her daughter's actions, the evil Sara brought up her parents' past and later responded to questions about a land mine being planted (which Lou Young inadvertently walked on, leading to his death at episode's end) by claiming that mines weren't part of the plan. Sara ended up arrested and taken to custody.
