The villainous Rosamund Denham
Rosamund Denham (Elizabeth Montgomery; 1933-1995) is a villianess from "Masquerade," episode 2.06 of Thriller (airdate October 30, 1961).
Rosamund Denham is the wife of Charlie Denham, and the couple were shown on their honeymoon in the deep South, where they ended up at a decrepit motel owned by the enigmatic Carta family. The couple are an the receiving end of Jed Carta's various stories about vampires; stories that Charlie laughs off while Rosamund voiced her trepidation of their surroundings, especially after seeing Jed and Lem's sister, Ruthie. The episode sees the couple portrayed as attempting to escape the hotel, with Charlie spotting Jed standing over Lem, who was shown with puncture wounds in his neck.
The couple escape from the hotel, though the episode's final scenes revealed that they were actual vampires, with Charlie cementing the reveal when he boasted about attacking and killing Ruthie. In addition, the evil Rosamund ended up revealed as Lem's attacker and killer, and the episode ended with the villainous couple sleeping together in their coffins as the sun started to rise.
