The psychotic Rebecca Moreau
Rebecca Moreau (Olivia Larsen) is the hidden main villainess from the 2022 Lifetime film, Fit to Kill (originally titled, A Job to Die For; airdate May 15, 2022).
Backstory[]
Rebecca Moreau was originally mentioned as the deceased daughter of famous fashion designer Claudia Moreau, with their backstory revealing that their relationship was immensely contentious. Regarding Rebecca's death, it was stated that she jumped off a cliff during a photoshoot, though there were suspicions that Claudia intentionally murdered her daughter during an argument. In actuality, Rebecca had faked her death and left Claudia to mourn her daughter's "passing"; as well as to be accused of actually killing her.
In addition, Rebecca was also angry at Claudia for not allowing her to model, feeling that her mother was controlling her. In the time that passed, Rebecca had been watching as Claudia hired various assistants, leaving her to develop an obsessive belief that Claudia was trying to replace her. She would cause her mother's assistants to quit by sending threatening emails to them, but when it came to Lexi McCay, Rebecca lured Lexi to a warehouse and stabbed her to death with a pair of scissors, doing so while disguised as her mother.
Events[]
The villainess later targeted main protagonist Sadie Raskin, who was hired by Claudia in the film's events. Rebecca vandalized Sadie's car and continued to stalk and plague Sadie, even going as far planting her medication in Sadie's car in an attempt to get her arrested. When Elena, one of Claudia's former assistants, became an obstacle with her attempts to warn Sadie, the evil Rebecca ran down Elena in her mother's car, killing her instantly. Sadie began to suspect that Claudia was behind everything, including Rebecca's death, but while Claudia with Sadie's mother, Lynn Raskin, Sadie was lured to the warehouse and attacked by the true culprit: Rebecca.
After tying up Sadie, Rebecca revealed herself and added that her entire plan was to hurt Claudia, while accusing Sadie and others before her of replacing her as Claudia's daughter. The deranged villainess vented over Claudia controlling her and making her feel like a failure, and in response to Sadie's assurance and statements that Claudia suffered after losing her daughter, Rebecca stated that she wanted Claudia to suffer before attempting to kill Sadie, after which Claudia and Lynn arrived. Claudia's attempts to get through to Rebecca were met with denial from the villainess, who accused her mother of being jealous of her aspirations and desire to pursue modeling.
Rebecca's mental illness was revealed by Claudia, who also revealed that she covered for her outbursts and a car accident she caused, only for the villainess to state that Claudia's motive for doing so was self-serving. She later agreed to go on a trip with her mother, but only after she kills Sadie, after which Rebecca attacked Claudia and pursued Sadie, who came from behind and placed plastic wrap over the villainess. Shortly afterwards, police arrived and arrested Rebecca, who gushed over everyone taking photos of her with their cellphones.
