The psychotic Phyllis
Phyllis is the main villainess from a short story released by Wnews on July 1, 2022.
Introduction[]
The story opened with a man (the unnamed main protagonist) waking up in a bedroom, where he encountered Phyllis (who introduced herself as his wife).
As the story quickly revealed, the man had been in a car accident but lost his memory, with Phyllis showing him photos of their wedding and past dates they went on to help him remember. In response to the protagonist's question about his family, the woman informed her husband that he was an orphan (adding that they had met in an orphanage).
Phyllis also revealed that she was in the accident with the protagonist, who pointed out that his wife was unharmed, only to be informed that he risked his life to save her and their son, Tommy, who hugged the man. Mother and son continued to help their husband/father regain his memory of their life together, with the added claims that the man had no friends because he said that all he needed in his life was his wife (as well as the claim that he quit his job to focus on their son). The man remained suspicious of Phyllis' claims, but he focused on being in Tommy's life, with both of them enjoying their bond.
Reveal[]
Phyllis' true colors revealed in a flashback
One day, Tommy presented his father a test paper that he received the highest grade on, with the protagonist voicing his pride and happiness in his son's success. When the man noticed his son shedding tears, he asked what was wrong, with the child stating that he had wanted a father for so long, which was followed by Tommy revealing to the protagonist that he wasn't his biological father (adding that it was all a ruse concocted by Phyllis).
As Tommy revealed, the man's accident actually happened six months prior, and regarding Phyllis, she and her son saw the news coverage of the accident, with the psychotic woman falling in love with her eventual "husband."
After finding out what hospital the man was in, Phyllis entered and falsely introduced herself as the man's fiancee, with the doctor informing the villainess that the patient would survive, but his memory would be gone. The evil woman continued to appear at the hospital for weeks until she was informed that her "fiance" could return at home, but to make sure that her target wouldn't wake up too soon, the evil Phyllis injected sleeping medication into his original medications to further her ruse, while commenting that her evil actions were committed for both of them.
In addition, Tommy revealed that he wasn't Phyllis' biological son; she adopted him a year prior and became obsessed with having a family, and she even threatened to send the child back to the orphanage if he revealed the truth. At that moment, Phyllis appeared and lashed out at her adoptive son for confessing, only for the protagonist to report the villainess to the police afterwards. Phyllis was arrested and placed in jail, where she vowed that "(they) would all be sorry."
