Natasha Barrett (Alana Hawley Purvis) is the hidden true main villainess from the 2024 Lifetime film, Have You Seen My Son? (originally titled, My Kidnapped Son; airdate April 21, 2024).
Backstory and Introduction[]
Natasha Barrett was introduced as running a halfway house for parolees, with one of them being main protagonist Catherine Greene, who was released from prison after 12 years for her role in the death of her infant son, Alfie. In actuality, Natasha's backstory revealed that on that night in question, her sister Stephanie Bowers abducted Alfie after finding him with Catherine in their car, doing so to replace the baby she lost while pregnant.
Marsha and Gary Barrett (Natasha and Stephanie's parents) found out about Stephanie's abduction and covered for her, and regarding Natasha, she took Alfie and raised him as her own, doing so to keep Stephanie from being arrested. She kept Alfie, who she renamed Jerome, in seclusion in the 12 years that passed, and greeted Catherine warmly when she moved into the house.

However, Catherine's appearance worried Natasha, as she feared that Catherine would eventually learn the truth about Alfie. Knowing this, Natasha turned heel by attempting to frame Catherine for theft, planting an expensive necklace in Catherine's room during one of several times she snuck into her room. Catherine survived a murder attempt orchestrated by Marsha and Gary, and she later learned about Alfie being alive and abducted after confronting Stephanie's ex-husband, Rob Bowers.
Catherine was abducted by Stephanie, who admitted to abducting Alfie but revealed that her parents gave him to her sister, who Catherine learned was Natasha. Meanwhile, Natasha was shown with Alfie before receiving a call from her mother regarding Catherine, with the villainess snarling over Catherine being an obstacle. After taking Alfie to his room, the evil Natasha armed herself with a shotgun and waited in ambush for Catherine to appear, which was followed by the villainess firing shots at Catherine, who dodged the attempts. During a confrontation, Natasha defended her callous actions by claiming that she gave up her life for Alfie, while also adding that she had to protect her sister.
Catherine knocked out Natasha with the gun and later entered the house and finally met Alfie, who ran towards Natasha, who told Alfie that she did what she did out of love for him. The villainess later scolded Catherine for regaining her own son, stating that her home was the only one he had known. Natasha was arrested, but not before praising Alfie and telling him not to let her mistake change what a wonderful young man he is.
