Poster for The Past Never Dies (aired on Lifetime as My Father, My Kidnapper)
Nancy Fast was an unseen villainess mentioned in the 2019 Lifetime film, My Father, My Kidnapper (alternately titled, The Past Never Dies; airdate November 29, 2019).
Nancy Fast was the wife of serial killer/kidnapper Timothy Fast, as well as the mother of their son, Jacob Fast (the film's main villain). During his marriage to Nancy, Timothy abducted (among others) Jane Marsh, with the abductions taking place 20 years before the events. Jane was held for an extended time by Timothy, which eventually resulted in Jane giving birth to her daughter Charlotte after being sexually assaulted by her abductor. Jane and Charlotte escaped Timothy's clutches, leading to Timothy being arrested; all the while, Jane and Charlotte changed their names to Lena and Casey Walters, respectively.
Following Timothy's arrest, Nancy turned heel and burned down their house with 13-year-old Jacob inside, an indication that Nancy was masterminding an attempted murder-suicide. Nancy's reveal as a deranged villainess was provided by investigator Nate Bishop, and while it was originally believed that both mother and son perished, Jacob made it out of the house, while the evil Nancy ended up killed in the fire.
