Evil robber/gang member Molly Higgins

Molly Higgins (Karen Cliche) is the main villainess from Republic of Doyle's sixth and final season opener, "Dirty Deeds" (airdate October 15, 2014). She is the girlfriend of Seth Rankin, a prison mate of Jake Doyle.

Molly was first shown visiting Seth in prison, after which Seth promised to bail out Jake, stating that he had $2 million in diamonds stashed away in a safe deposit box--which he and Molly stole from his uncle's jewelry store. The box had two keys, with Molly having one of them while Seth stashed the other into prison. After spotting Malachy Doyle and Des Courtney watching her, Molly entered their van and pepper-sprayed Des, after which Malachy revealed that they were sent by Seth to protect her.

Molly revealed that she had the second key, adding that she "never wanted any of this"; claiming that she tried to reason with Seth, while stating that Seth wasn't bright; fearing that he may have told other inmates about the diamonds. Molly pepper-sprayed Des a second time while he and Malachy confronted a man, Lonny Kent, who was outside watching her, with Molly realizing that they were protecting her. After Rose Doyle revealed her suspicions about the robbery's motive, she also revealed that Molly was part of the notorious Chevalier Biker Gang (which had Lonny as a member) before she met Seth, and afterwards, Molly was informed by Malachy that Jake found Seth's key, after which he sent Des to track Molly.

After Taylor Gossad trapped Jake and Seth inside a room and started a fire in an attempt to kill them, Seth revealed the truth:  Molly was behind the entire robbery, with Seth taking the fall out of love for her. The villainess returned to the prison to visit Taylor (with Des tracking her), after which Taylor gave Seth's key to Molly. Malachy and Des confronted Molly regarding the robbery, with the villainess claiming to have committed the robbery for Seth; however, when her ties to the gang were revealed, the evil Molly stated that Seth was an idiot, after which she was arrested and taken into custody.
