Vengeful villainess Miranda

Miranda (Morgan Fairchild) is the main villainess from "Pheromone, My Lovely," episode 1.11 of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (airdate November 28, 1993).

Miranda is a chemist who worked for Lex Luthor, who was also her one-time lover, however, Miranda's introduction saw her confront Lex after learning that he had cut the funding for her new perfume. In response, Miranda took her perfume (which she named "Revenge") and sprayed it around the Daily Planet, which resulted in Lois Lane, Perry White, and Jimmy Olsen feeling the effects and losing their inhibitions. She later boasts about the success of her perfume to Lex, and later on, she's visited by Lois (now free from the perfume's power) and Clark Kent at her shop, where the latter learns about the perfume being the cause of the chaos at the Daily Planet.

Other than prove her worth as a chemist, Miranda was looking to get back with Lex, and later sprayed herself with the perfume hoping that Lex would fall back in love with her. When that fails, and after seeing that Lex had designs on Lois, Miranda decides to turn up the pheromones in her perfume and spray the entire town of Metropolis, and the climax saw the madwoman hold Lois at gunpoint and tie her up before placing her above a vat of Toxic Malathion, as she was planning to kill Lois by slowly lowering her into the vat. The villainess later entered her plane and was set on spraying her perfume, only for Superman so stop Miranda and later blow the perfume to her direction, causing Miranda to fawn over Superman as she was taken away and arrested.
