The evil and vengeful Mia Wilson
Mia Wilson (Sydney Cole Alexander) is the main villainess from the 2023 Tubi film, A Neighbor's Vendetta (release date February 10, 2023) Later aired on Lifetime Movie Network on July 27, 2024.
Introduction[]
Mia Wilson is the wife of CEO Robert Wilson, who (unbeknownst to Mia) was engaged in an affair with his employee, Sonja Richards. The pair later engaged in an act of phone sex, though Robert's act of auto-erotic asphyxiation ended up killing him, and afterwards, Mia was visited by a police officer who informed her about Robert's sudden death. The visit resulted in Mia learning about the affair, and it was on the following day at her husband's place of business that an encounter with Sonja saw Mia recognize Sonja's perfume as the familiar scent that was on Robert.
Heel Turn[]
Afterwards, Mia looked into Robert's phone and read what ended up being his final conversation with Sonja, a series of erotic texts. She phoned Janice and set up a meeting with Sonja, only to learn that Sonja was staying at a remote cabin with her estranged husband, Jason. After learning the location of the cabin, Mia turned heel and headed to the very destination with plans to enact revenge on Sonja, renting a car to drive to the cabin and move next door to Jason. The scheming villainess damaged her electricity as part of her plot to portray herself as being in need of Jason's assistance, which was followed by a dinner date and an attempt to seduce Jason.
Sonja met Mia, who introduced herself as Claire, on the following day, while acting as if she was meeting Jason for the first time. Her presence caused the couple to start arguing, though Sonja became suspicious of Mia when she mentioned things that Jason told her earlier, leading Sonja to demand that Claire/Mia refrain from talking to Jason; all the while, the villainess envisioned herself harming Sonja out of rage and revenge on numerous occasions. Mia also began stalking Sonja afterwards, leading to Sonja sneaking into Mia's home to learn about her motives.
Climax and Reveal[]
After catching Sonja, the evil Mia revealed her true identity as Robert's wife, with Sonja stating that she didn't know Robert was married and apologizing to Mia, who appeared to embrace Sonja sympathetically--only for the villainess to clutch Sonja and repeat Robert's last text conversation. Mia mentioned that she kissed Jason, but she added that she plans to sleep with Jason to make things even, after which Mia ejected Sonja from her house, claiming that she was planning to head to Shreveport.
In actuality, Mia bashed her own head on a door before visiting Jason, while claiming that Sonja attacked her before enacting her plan to seduce Jason. Sonja, having realized that Mia was at the cabin, returned to find her husband tied to the bed and Mia clutching a gun. A fight for the weapon resulted in Mia shooting Jason, and it was followed by Sonja disarming the villainess and chasing her with the gun before calling the police on her. However, Mia informed Sonja that she would not be arrested, adding that Sonja would be portrayed as a psychotic villainess who killed Jason out of scorned, while Mia was actually at her husband's wake.
In addition, the villainess responded to Sonja's statement that her prints were on the gun by revealing that she was wearing gloves, and the only prints on the gun were Sonja's, while also informing Sonja that the gun was no longer loaded. Just as Sonja was pursuing Mia, a police officer arrived and ordered her to drop the gun, with Sonja pointing the officer in Mia's direction. Sonja later spotted Mia's car and described the plates, but as the film's final scenes revealed, Sonja ended up charged with Jason's murder, with Jason revealed to be barely clinging to life in the hospital. As for Mia, she was on her laptop reading about Sonja's arrest, showing satisfaction over her vengeful plan succeeding.
