Villainous robber Melissa
Melissa (Raquel Basco) is the hidden main villainess from Prisoner Escapes Jail for Valentine, What Happens Next is Shocking, a short film released by Illumeably (release date February 12, 2023).
Introduction[]
Melissa was introduced as the girlfriend of secondary protagonist Jacob, who informed Melissa that her ex-boyfriend, main protagonist Dom Matthews, escaped from prison after two years. Melissa voiced her fear of Dom, stating that she cut ties with Dom after he was arrested, while expressing her gratitude over her current relationship with Jacob. Later that night, Dom appeared at Melissa's house looking to reunite with her, only to be shocked to see her with Jacob.
Once Melissa entered the kitchen, she was approached by Dom, causing alarm from Melissa, who revealed that Dom was sentenced to life in prison because he stabbed someone to death. Dom voiced his innocence and claimed that he was set up, and asked Melissa to meet Dom at a nearby park to reveal his side of the story, with Melissa reluctantly agreeing to do so.

Dom revealed the details to Melissa: he was on his way to buy flowers for Melissa, but at the parking lot, a masked villainess armed with a knife ran past Dom, who stated that the villainess had robbed a store and was wearing high-heeled combat boots. Dom made an effort to prevent the villainess from escaping, but at that moment, a bystander appeared at the scene, leading to the knife stabbing the man in the stomach. The villainess escaped, leaving Dom to tend to the victim, while also holding the knife, though it resulted in Dom's arrest.
When Dom asked if any similar crimes had occurred following his arrest, Melissa stated that only petty thefts happened, after which Jacob appeared and attempted to call 911. In a stunning surprise moment, Melissa began turning heel by attacking Jacob, who fell unconscious while Dom panicked and asked Melissa for help, only for Melissa to stare blankly. After taking Jacob home, Dom noticed a stack of money and asked Melissa about it, with Melissa claiming that Jacob made a withdrawal before heading to Panda Express. Dom was left to confront Jacob, who gave him his phone in an attempt to clear himself of Dom's accusations of setting him up. Dom read a report about an attack at Panda Express that left two people in critical condition, with Dom accused of that crime.

When Melissa returned home, Dom noticed that she was wearing the boots that he had described to Melissa, who was informed by Jacob about the criminal striking again, after which Melissa informed both men that she was exhausted and heading to bed. The boots revealed that Melissa was the villainess behind the robberies, as well as the murder that Dom was accused of committing two years prior. In addition, Melissa fully turned heel after attacking Jacob and taking him home, doing so by committing the attack and robbery at the Panda Express, with Dom being shocked and heartbroken over the revelation.
Dom slept on the couch that night, but at that moment, the evil Melissa appeared under her heel persona and attempted to kill Dom with a knife, with Jacob capturing the villainess and allowing Dom to unmask her as Melissa. The villainess gave a blank and ominous stare as Dom attempted to get through to her, and the film's ending revealed that Melissa had split personality disorder, and had been in a psychiatric hospital in the year that passed.
