Serial killer Marci
Marci (Bella Thorne) is the main protagonist villainess from "Drive," episode 2.03 of American Horror Stories (airdate August 4, 2022).
Introduction[]
Marci is the wife of Chaz, though her introductory scene showed her at a nightclub with her best friend Piper. She later hooked up with a man--Wyatt--in her car, before telling him to get out and later driving off. Afterwards, Marci is tracked by a driver in a Jeep Wrangler, and upon returning home to Chaz, it is revealed that they have an open marriage, and that they had been married for eight months.
The following day sees Piper warn Marci about a serial killer stalking nightclubs, though Marci is determined to continue clubbing, as she is shown hooking up with a woman in her car that same evening. Afterwards, Marci spotted the Wrangler and managed to get the license plate, and after an online search, Marci tracked the car and located the owner, Paul Winowski, to his workplace, where he sells kitchen supplies.
Heel Turn[]
After being shaken over Paul's description of the knives on display, Marci tracked Paul to his home later that evening, and found newspaper clippings of the killer's missing victims. Armed with a knife, Marci ended up encountering Paul, who was armed with a bat and asked Marci what she was doing in his house. After Marci mentioned Paul tracking her, Paul revealed that his reason for pursuing Marci was to warn her, as someone was in the back of her car. On the night he was tracked, Paul believed that it was the killer going after him, after which Marci thanked Paul for looking out for her, while informing Paul that no one was in her car. Marci and Paul laughed about their encounter, with Paul--having fallen for Marci--adding that he didn't know her name.
At that moment, Marci turned heel by injecting a drug-filled syringe into his neck after introducing herself, and after she is choked by Paul, Chaz appeared and knocked out Paul with a bat. The episode's climax officially revealed Marci as the serial killer (with Chaz as her accomplice); as Paul was tied up inside Marci's kill room, where the villainess revealed that the man in her car (Wyatt) was her latest victim. Marci later revealed her backstory; she was born with a port-wine stain birthmark on her face and neck, and throughout high school, she was bullied by popular guys because of it. After beginning a relationship with Chaz, the evil Marci decided to take her anger out on men similar to those who bullied her, doing so by seducing men at nightclubs before drugging and killing them, with Chaz burying them in the wine cellar.
Regarding Paul, Marci stated that he was just like her tormentors, and she later stabbed him in the leg as punishment for damaging her car that night. The deranged murderess later unleashed a machete and was set to behead Paul, only to realize that something was wrong, after which Marci lodged the blade on the side of Paul's skull and approached Chaz, asking him to have a larger role in their spree. Chaz happily agreed, and after killing Paul, the episode's end saw the villainous couple murder their next victim: Piper.
