Greedy villainess Lydia Halstrom
Lydia Halstrom (Lana Parrilla) is a villainess from "The Match Game," episode 7.02 of Medium (airdate September 30, 2010).
Lydia Halstrom is one of Joe Dubois' employees, though in the episode, she vented to Joe about one of her co-workers, Dave Anderson, claiming that Dave was sexually harassing her. Joe ordered Lydia and Dave to steer clear of each other, but later on, Dave revealed that he spoke to Lydia and asked her out, making a claim that Lydia didn't want to date a co-worker, leading to Dave stating that they could date if one of them ended up fired.
Afterwards, Joe learned that Lydia was suing the company for creating a hostile work environment, while naming Joe as a party in the suit. Later on, Lydia's request for assignments turned into a conversation between herself and Joe regarding the suit, and at this point, Lydia intentionally bruised her arm and informed Joe that she would set him up as having grabbed her aggressively when Lydia refused to drop the suit, with the villainess claiming that she named to turn up the heat on the company, while saying that she only wanted a settlement.
However, Marie Dubois (Allison and Joe's youngest daughter) gave details about a dream she had that centered on a couple having sex, and she identified Dave and Lydia as the couple. Joe called both parties into his office, where it was revealed that Dave and Lydia were an actual couple, and they came together to file a fraudulent sexual harassment suit against their employers. Lydia attempted to deny everything, only for Joe to reveal that the hotel where they had their tryst had security footage of the pair, leading to Joe firing the villainous couple.
