Lydia Castor (Charlotte Hegele) is a villainess from "Smash Derby," episode 6.03 of Republic of Doyle (airdate October 29, 2014). 

Lydia Castor is an insurance adjuster who was at the scene of an accident that involved Donny Pearl; encountering Jake and Malachy Doyle while doing so. Upon seeing the Doyles, Lydia asked them to investigate Donny's accident to make sure it was legitimate, but while the episode's progression did reveal that the accident was part of an insurance scam, it was uncovered that the mastermind was none other than Lydia herself.

As it turned out, Lydia had conspired with Donny, Curtis Breen, and Billy Davidson in the scam, though Donny botched the scheme, leading to the villainess attempting to throw Donny under the bus for the entire accident. To cover her tracks, the evil Lydia fired the Doyles after they figured out that the accident was part of a scam, but the pair ultimately figured out Lydia's role. After saving Donny from being killed by Billy (who had killed Curtis as part of a cover-up), Jake informed Donny that Lydia was arrested (off-screen) for her role.
