Vengeful serial killer Lori
Lori (Alisa Allapach) was the hidden main villainess from the 2024 Tubi film, Sinister Surgeon (released on Tubi on July 6, 2024, later aired on Lifetime Movie Network on April 6, 2025).
Introduction[]
Lori was the office manager at a plastic surgery clinic where main protagonist Katelyn Harken was hired as their newest surgeon. As the film progressed, Lori and Katelyn formed a friendship, which included Lori revealing that she was once an aspiring surgeon in her own right, but a car accident ended her dream. Lori also stated that she was saved by prominent surgeon Jacob Peterson and his late wife, Alana.
Katelyn developed romantic feelings for Jacob and they began a sexual relationship, all while a number of his patients at the clinic were being murdered. Dr. Brad Borden, a former surgeon at the clinic, made various appearances accusing Jacob of the murders of the patients--Tracey Bingham, Jennifer Collins, Erica Muss, Angel Grant, and Christine Johnson--as well as Alana, claiming that he was having affairs with the women and Alana found out.
Reveal and Death[]
The film's climax saw Dr. Nichols, the head surgeon, brutally murdered in her office, and afterwards, Jacob was arrested and accused of the murders. As Katelyn was left stunned that she was romantically involved with a killer, she heard Lori, who was in immense distress, call for help inside the clinic and rushed inside to check on her. At that moment, Brad appeared and grabbed Katelyn to warn her that he was wrong, and that Jacob wasn't the serial killer. Before Brad could complete his revelation, however, Lori turned heel by stabbing Brad in his neck with a scalpel, outing herself as the true killer.
As Lori attempted to kill Katelyn, she revealed that her motivation for the murders was to resume her aspirations as a surgeon, and that she had a vendetta against Jacob for ending her ambitions. The maniacal villainess killed her victims by undoing every surgical procedure that was performed on them, and she boasted about framing Jacob as a serial killer, adding that Katelyn's relationship with him and resemblance to Alana played into her plans very well. Just as she was about to kill Katelyn, Lori was confronted by Jacob, who pointed out that the aforementioned accident rendered her blind in her left eye and unable to continue as a surgeon, but the evil Lori still lashed at Jacob for not helping her. The madwoman stabbed Jacob's shoulder with the scalpel, and continued her attempt to kill Katelyn, only to be shot in the head by Detective Elliott.
While Lori was revealed as the serial killer, it was revealed in the epilogue that Jacob indeed murdered Dr. Nichols because she had known that he killed Alana prior to the film's events.
