Protagonist villainess Little Red Riding Hood
Little Red Riding Hood is the titular protagonist and hidden main villainess from Little Red Riding Hood and the Werewolf, a story from Fantastic Fears #8 (released in 1953).
Red Riding Hood's grandmother, a witch, narrates the story, which has Red visiting her grandmother. Meanwhile, hunters Tim Blake and Zach Parker were preparing for Red's appearance, as well as a hunt for a wolf who was after Red. The duo wondered where their fellow hunter, Elmer Dowd, was located, but unbeknownst to them, Elmer turned heel and transformed into a werewolf, after which he went on his pursuit of Red. Zach appeared and fired a shot at the werewolf, winging him and saving Red, who took him to her grandmother and voiced her gratitude over his heroism.
On the following night, Zach saved Red from the werewolf again, while unaware that Elmer was the villainous werewolf, after which Red invited Zach to her grandmother's cot so he could rest. A week later, Elmer located Red at the cot and transformed again before pursuing his prey, only for Zach to appear and save Red, while being unable to kill the werewolf due to the creature being out of range. Afterwards, Zach picked up Red's basket and commented on how heavy it was, leading him to ask Red what was inside.
Red asked Zach to open the basket, with Zach expressing shock and horror that the contents included a human hand and a skull. Afterwards, Red turned heel by revealing herself as a vampiress, after informing Zach that her grandmother was a witch and the items were for her incantations. After her reveal, the evil Red flashed her fangs at Zach and mentioned her thirst for human blood before draining him and flying away, with her grandmother seeing Red in her bat form. Tim and the other hunters found Zach's body, with Tim believing that the werewolf killed him and Red's grandmother, and the story ends with Red swooping over Elmer in his werewolf form.
