Villainous Beauties Wiki

Lisa Wolf (Laurie Fortier) is the main villainess from the 2022 Lifetime film, My Nightmare Office Affair (airdate October 28, 2022).

Backstory and Introduction[]

Lisa Wolf was introduced as the superior of main protagonist Nick Sherman, though her backstory only revealed that when she was a teenager, she murdered her father by fatally drugging him, doing so due to her belief that her father was unfaithful. In adulthood, Lisa became obsessed with becoming a mother, and at some point, she was in a relationship with another of her employees, Bob, prior to the film's events. She attempted adoption; however, Lisa was informed by Callie (a social worker) that her assault charge as a teenager would prevent her from adopting.

Believing that her chances of becoming a mother were dwindling, and following her relationship with Bob ending, Lisa decided to target Nick, beginning with hacking into phones belonging to Nick and his wife, Jennifer Sherman, while also placing a security camera inside the Sherman's home. The scheming Lisa also used her hacking skills to set up Jennifer as adulteress, and planted her father's watch to play the ruse, while using Nick's lack of security regarding his marriage to seduce him into a one-night stand. Shortly afterwards, Bob confronted Lisa regarding his knowledge of her illicit relationship with Nick, and also revealed that he had evidence that he planned to reveal, leading to Lisa bludgeoning Bob to death and staging the murder as a suicide.

Climax & Arrest[]

The entire staff mourned Bob's sudden death, though Lisa continued her pursuit of Nick, who began to realize that Lisa had been stalking him and setting up Jennifer. The confrontation saw Lisa admit to her misdeeds, claiming that she wanted to make Nick's decision easier, while also scolding Nick for falling for her trap. Nick cut ties with Lisa, who later responded by reporting Nick to the police, attempting to set him up for sexual assault and for Bob's murder. The ordeal led Nick to finally confess everything to Jennifer, and later on, Lisa appeared and attempted to coerce Nick to be with her, with the villainess drugging Nick following his refusal.

Lisa revealed her plans to be part of a family with Nick and Julianna (Nick and Jennifer's daughter), claiming that she could be the mother that Julianna deserves. The insane villainess later grabbed a knife and informed Nick that she would be right back, and it was followed by Lisa drugging Jennifer and taking her to an isolated area, while revealing her affection for Nick and her plans to be Julianna's mother. Just as Lisa was about to kill Jennifer, Nick arrived with his co-worker, Cassie, with the distraction allowing Jennifer to escape Lisa's clutches. The villainess wielded her knife and accidentally slashed Nick (non-fatally), and out of anger over the accident, the evil Lisa attempted to kill Jennifer, only to be knocked out by Cassie. Lisa was placed in an ambulance and was arrested, while elsewhere, Callie appeared at Lisa's house and stated that she was cleared to adopt a child.

Trivia[]

  • Lisa Wolf is similar to fellow Lifetime villainess Tanya Jackson from 2020's Deadly Mile High Club. Each women befriend with the film's protagonist and subsequently having a secret relationship, causing to stir an affair from their wives and sabotage their sinister plans to eliminate them during the quest. The difference that Tanya has two protagonists, while Lisa has only one. Coincidentally, both villainesses are going against a protagonist played by Marc Herrmann and both films share the protagonist character's last name Sherman.
