Scorned villainess Leslie Savard
Leslie Savard (Erin Gray) was the main villainess from "Together Forever," episode 5.10 of The Hitchhiker (airdate July 28, 1989). She is the wife of French businessman Paul Savard.
The episode introduced Leslie as a woman who continuously suspected Paul of cheating on her, with Paul calming his wife down during her latest outburst. She vented her suspicions to her friend and neighbor Mimi, who reassured Leslie that Paul loved her. After spotting a card with the name, Sylvie, on it, Leslie went to a flower shop under the guise of buying flowers for Paul, only to confront the young woman and identify her as Sylvie--while accusing her of seeing Paul. The woman introduced herself as Ariane, and pointed out Sylvie--an older woman.
Leslie bought the flowers for Paul, but hearing a woman's giggle drove Leslie into a rage once again, leading to Leslie barging into Paul's office and confronting him and his female co-worker, who introduced Leslie to her husband. The episode's climax saw Leslie again confront Paul as he returned home, as she accused him of sleeping around before brandishing a knife and accusing Paul of making her appear crazy. Paul's attempt to disarm Leslie resulted in Paul getting nicked by the knife, while denying being unfaithful. He later took Leslie to a bar and stated that he was out with men, who backed up his alibi.
Leslie was reassured that Paul was faithful; however, Mimi later appeared and called out for Paul--doing so while chasing their moving vehicle. Mimi's actions revealed that Paul was having an affair with her, and upon realizing that she was right all along, Leslie turned heel by grabbing the steering wheel and intentionally sending their car into the crosshairs of another moving vehicle, with The Hitchhiker's narration revealing that the evil Leslie successfully killed herself and her husband.
