Greedy realtor Kendall Jones
Kendall Jones (Jamie Bernadette) was the hidden main villainess from the 2023 Lifetime film, Home, Not Alone (airdate March 26, 2023).
Introduction[]
Kendall Jones was a realtor who was first shown in the film's opening scene, as she was welcoming main protagonist Sara Wilson and her daughter, Jordyn Wilson, to the neighborhood. The pair moved into a new house following Sara's split from her controlling ex-husband (Jordyn's father), Frank Wilson, and the film's progression saw Sara build up a relationship with the home's former owner, Colin Murray. However, Sara noticed strange occurrences taking place, which included a video camera shown outside the house, as well as a mysterious painting on the wall, among other oddities.
As for Kendall, she listened to Sara's worries about the house and made a suggestion that Sara should sell the house due to the fact that it wasn't a safe environment for herself and Jordyn. Later on, Kendall informed Sara that she found a buyer who was willing to pay Sara 20% more than she paid for the house, with Sara informing Kendall that she would give the offer some thought.
Reveal[]
Kendall wielding a knife at Sara
It was ultimately revealed that Colin had been spying on the Wilsons, mainly Sara, as he had an obsessive desire to reclaim the house and live with Sara, who found Colin's shrine to her after finding out that he had attacked Lucy. Colin denied putting the painting up, but following his arrest, Kendall appeared and expressed her surprise over the events before being invited inside the house by Sara. The meeting saw Sara change her mind about selling the house; doubling down on her new stance in response to Kendall's insistence and her increasing dismay.
At that moment, Kendall suddenly turned heel by wielding a knife at Sara, while revealing that she was the buyer for Sara's house. After knocking out Jordyn, the maniacal villainess revealed her true motive: a company known as Merriwether Industries had been looking to build their campus in the neighborhood, with the main centerpiece being Sara's house, with Kendall looking to buy the house so she could sell the land to the company. Kendall revealed that she had known about Colin's actions, and while Colin was working on his goal, the villainess put up the painting and hooked up the camera as part of her plan to gaslight and scare Sara into selling the house.
In response to Sara stating that Kendall would have been rich on the commission alone, the evil Kendall claimed that the commission wasn't enough before attempting to kill Sara and chasing her. The villainess pursued Sara to the house's indoor pool, with both women falling in to the pool as they continued brawling. Kendall attempted to drown Sara, only for Jordyn to enter the pool and bludgeon the villainess to death with a glass bowl.
