The evil Kat Connolly
Kat Connolly (Jennifer Taylor) is a hidden villainess from the 2021 Lifetime film, My Husband's Secret Brother (alternately titled, A Deadly Deed; airdate September 17, 2021).
Introduction[]
Kat Connolly is the best friend and business partner of main protagonist Jacqueline "Jackie" Everstone, whose husband, Jonathan Everstone, tragically died three years prior. The women were on the verge of opening their dance studio, Momentum School of Dance, though regarding Jackie, she was also in a relationship with plastic surgeon Kevin Richardson (the film's main villain), who proposed to her later in the film. As the film's progression revealed, however, Kevin was on a murderous quest to obtain his family's fortune, as Kevin was the half-brother of Jonathan and William Everstone (the latter changing his surname to Kimble).
Kevin's quest included killing Jonathan, doing so by running him down in his car three years prior, and he later killed the family's lawyer, Jerry Shapiro, as well as journalist (as well as Jackie and Kat's friend) Maya Wilder. All the while, Kat portrayed herself as a concerned friend to Madison, especially after Maya's story mentioned the Everstone family curse.

Kat's evil smirk during her reveal as a conspirator
Jackie's meeting with William revealed Kevin's true identity as his half-brother, and in addition, William provided video evidence of Kevin's role in Jonathan's death. As for Kat, she was informed by Jackie that Kevin killed Jonathan and had abducted Jackie's daughter, Madison, with Kat voicing her concern to Jackie regarding her discovery. After Kat ended her conversation, she spotted Kevin stashing Madison in one of the studio's rooms, and at that moment, Kat turned heel by revealing herself as Kevin's co-conspirator, as she greeted him warmly and informed him about the evidence of Kevin killing Jonathan.
As also revealed, Kat introduced Jackie to Kevin as part of her plan to share his wealth with him, but afterwards, Kevin voiced his plan to kill Kat along with Madison and Jackie, doing so to have all of the fortune to himself. However, Kat pulled out a gun and shot Kevin, as she stated that with Madison's inheritance not being official, the money would be tied up to her studio, and after Jackie arrived and searched for Madison, the evil Kat attempted to lunge at Jackie with a loaded syringe in an attempt to kill her. Kat revealed that jealousy was her motive for her heel turn against Jackie, venting over being Jackie's "black swan" while Jackie "fell into a fortune."
The maniacal villainess searched for Jackie, while also knocking out William during her pursuit, but as Kat found who she believed was her former friend, she was shocked to find a mannequin. Jackie emerged and knocked out Kat with a disco ball display, and after Jackie killed Kevin (who survived the gunshot) with his syringe in self-defense, Kat was shown in handcuffs and in police custody--arrested for her crimes.
