Judy

Evil conspirator Judy

Judy (Stephanie Izsak) is the hidden main villainess from the 2023 Lifetime film, My Son Didn't Do It (originally titled, Catfish Murder; airdate August 17, 2023).

Introduction[]

Judy is the best friend of main protagonist Helen Parker, with the film also establishing that her son, Miles, had a friendship with Helen's two children (and schoolmates), Taylor and Gia Parker. In the film's progression, Sophia Bliss, the most popular student at the teens' shared school, is found deceased on the night of a party she had thrown, and the investigation saw Taylor arrested and accused of Sophia's murder.

As for Judy, she claimed to have seen Taylor sneaking out on the night in question, though she promised not to go to the police with her information. In addition, Judy continued to serve as a supportive friend to Helen during the ordeal, which saw her home vandalized and a cameraman relentlessly hound Helen. The film's progression mentioned that Lucas Peters, a fellow student, had been bullying Taylor, though Lucas was killed later in the film, with Judy claiming that he committed suicide after confessing to killing Sophia.

Reveal[]

Evil Judy

Taylor had been in a relationship with a girl named Emma entering his arrest, though Gia's confrontation with Miles and Delaney (the latter being another schoolmate) revealed that "Emma" was created by Miles, with Miles admitting to the catfishing and claiming that he was trying to cheer Taylor up. In addition, Miles had a crush on Sophia, but after she turned him down, Miles arranged a meeting with Sophia via text, doing so under a different name. Miles tracked Sophia after she left the party, and after revealing his crush on her, Miles attempted to prevent Sophia from leaving, which resulted in Sophia being shoved headfirst into a rock, killing her instantly.

As the flashback also revealed, Miles called Judy and revealed what happened, but in response to Miles' plan to call the police and tell them what happened, Judy turned heel by voicing her plan to cover up Sophia's death, adding that her life would be ruined if Miles was arrested. Judy murdered Lucas as part of the cover-up, and the film's climax saw Jack contact Helen and reveal that both Judy and Miles had used Delaney's car on the night in question, with Judy overhearing the call and attempting to explain herself. The villainess denied killing Sophia, even saying that Sophia wasn't even murdered, claiming that what happened was an accident; however, the evil Judy admitted to killing Lucas, and pleaded with Helen to think of Miles, claiming that Helen would do the same thing for either of her children.

Afterwards, Judy tackled Helen in an attempt to prevent her from calling the police, and it was at that moment that Gia entered and found both women brawling. Gia pepper-sprayed Judy's eyes, and following this, both Judy and Miles were arrested for each of their separate crimes.
