Villainous thief Jasmine
Jasmine is the main villainess from I Read My Best Friend's Diary and Found Out Her Biggest Secret, a short story released by That's My Story (release date June 19, 2020).
Introduction[]
Jasmine is the best friend of Lucy and Emily; the former of the two being the main protagonist/narrator. All three attended a prestigious high school, and regarding Jasmine, she was established as being immensely wealthy. The girls spent time at Jasmine's house for a slumber party, though at that moment, Lucy noticed that her ring was suddenly missing; having left it in the restroom and returned to see it was gone. After realizing that Emily was the last person inside the restroom beforehand, Lucy began to suspect Emily of stealing the ring, though she had no evidence.
The next morning, Jasmine called Lucy and stated that a number of her things had been going missing every time the girls have a slumber party, and pointed the finger at Emily, accusing her of stealing her items. Lucy mentioned her ring being missing, with Jasmine voicing her own suspicions that Emily stole Lucy's ring. The suspicion increased when Emily didn't contact Lucy and Jasmine, leading to the latter inviting Emily over to test her. She left Emily alone in her room with a few of her valuables out in the open, and was relieved when she saw them still in their places, as it cleared Emily in the theft.

Jasmine stealing Lucy's ring
Lucy woke up Emily and told her that they needed to talk to Jasmine and clear things up, only for Emily to reveal that she was never talking to Jasmine again. Lucy expressed shock over the statement, and afterwards, she confessed to suspecting Emily of stealing her ring, as well as testing her to see if she'd steal again. Emily was upset over Lucy's actions, but she later revealed the truth: Jasmine had stolen Lucy's ring, due to the fact that she is a kleptomaniac. On the night of the party, Emily found Jasmine's laptop--which was originally set to be used to watch programs--and discovered that Jasmine had been trashing Emily on her online diary.
However, Emily also discovered that Jasmine wrote that she was being treated for kleptomania, and it was also revealed that Jasmine's kleptomania was discovered when she was very young, but she was treated for it, only to return to therapy when she started stealing again. After stealing Lucy's ring on the night of the party, the evil Jasmine covered up her thievery by falsely accusing Emily of the theft during her conversation with Lucy, doing so to drive a wedge between Lucy and Emily. However, after Emily revealed the truth, she sent Jasmine a capture of her diary, with the villainess quickly blocking Emily in response. Both Lucy and Emily cut ties with Jasmine, who ran off after seeing both of them together, as she realized that both of them had known about her actions.
