The evil and unnamed Ghostly Wife

The unnamed Ghostly Wife (Adele) is the main villainess from "The Haunted Manor," a sketch from the October 24, 2020 episode of Saturday Night Live.

The sketch features Chad (Pete Davidson) entering a haunted mansion after his car runs out of gas and his phone's Wi-Fi connection is gone. After entering, he is encountered by the female specter, who trapped Chad inside before making her appearance. With her eyes flashing an ominous white glow, the sinister specter revealed to Chad that she died years ago, showing her slashed throat in an attempt to frighten Chad, only for his apathetic and dimwitted demeanor to prevent him from being scared.

The ghost told her story; her death was deemed a suicide, but she was actually killed by her husband for her inheritance, with Chad's short responses bewildering the blonde. She showed Chad a letter containing a confession from her husband, adding that it was the only thing that revealed the truth and could allow her to cross over, only for Chad to accidentally set the letter on fire. The blonde later lamented over her loveless marriage and stated that she yearned for the tender kiss of true love, after which Chad attempted to make out with the ghostly woman, only to fall down while going through her, with a suit of armor falling on him.

After Chad arose, the villainous specter advised him to tell her story, while making an indicated ominous threat towards him if he failed. While watching Chad leave, the ghostly wife noticed him going through the wall, leading her to turn to the fallen armor and realize that the fall killed Chad, leaving the blonde displeased.
