Psychotic madwoman Eleanor Davis
Eleanor Davis (Frances Conroy) is the main villainess from "Can't Fight Biology," episode 7.04 of Grey's Anatomy (airdate October 14, 2010).
Eleanor Davis was introduced as a patient being admitted after accidentally driving her car into a laundromat, and she was shown worrying about her husband, Larry Davis, who was a victim of that same accident. She ended up being the main patient for Drs. Lexie Grey and April Kepner, with Eleanor stating that she had no memory of the accident, and was worried when she saw police officers outside, as she feared she'd be arrested. Eleanor's later informed that Larry's spleen and kidney would have to be removed, but he would make a full recovery, and Lexie and April informed Eleanor that she could spend time with Larry after telling the police to return on the next day.
However, Eleanor revealed that Larry wasn't her husband anymore, adding that he left her three months prior under the claim of needing time to himself. In actuality, Larry had moved in with a woman named Kimmy, with Eleanor learning this fact during the separation. Regarding the day in question, Eleanor revealed that she was on her way to the post office when she saw Larry's car parked at that aforementioned laundromat, and she saw Larry doing Kimmy's laundry, while venting that Larry never did the laundry during his entire 38 year marriage to Eleanor. Kimmy wasn't with Larry at the time, but despite this, Eleanor turned heel in a fit of jealous rage by intentionally crashing her car into the laundromat, running down not only Larry, but a woman named Lila, who was also hospitalized.
Eleanor voiced her regret over Lila, but added that she knows why people refer to jealousy as the green-eyed monster. The maniacal villainess stated to Lexie and April that they're used to hearing stuff like this, voicing her belief that doctor-patient confidentiality would keep her evil actions private, only for Lexie to informed Eleanor that the confidentiality only refers to medicine. In response, Eleanor stated that Lexie and April are required to keep her secrets, but April stated that only lawyers could do that, after which Eleanor ended up arrested (off-screen).
