The evil Dr. Frakes
Dr. Frakes (Cree Summer) is the villainess of "If You Give A Frog A Cookie", episode 3. 08b of Amphibia (airdate November 20, 2021) She was a scientist who ran a children's activity centre called Dr Frakes' Brainasiun. The episode's opening had main protagonist Anne Boonchuy learn that Frakes was also a researcher into string theory, which could have helped in opening a portal to help her friends, the Plantar family, return to their home dimension of Amphibia.
The group went to the Brainasium in order to interview Frakes, meeting her assistant Terri in the process. Frakes showed herself to be a self-serving woman who only agreed to answer their questions when they pretended to be journalists who could make her famous. She explained that a couple of months ago, a portal to another world opened up during her experinments (which had acutally been caused by the opening of the magic Calamity Box), adding that she had managed to repeat the anomaly several times since then.
After the portal was opened again, the Plantars had their human disguises blown off by it's power, exposing them as humanoid frogs. Seeing this, Frakes turned heel and made plans to dissect the family in order to become famous that way, sealing Anne out of the room. However, Terri arrived and helped Anne back into the lab, where they found the evil Frakes having strapped the family to an operating table with the manaical villainess voicing her plans for fame. Anne and Terri were able to free the Plantars and escape through the activity centre, with Frakes in hot pursuit. Anne was able to stop Frakes by announcing to the children in attendance that she had snacks, causing them to swarm the villainess and pull her to the ground as the heroes made their escape.
