Evil deceiver Chloe

Chloe is the main villainess from a short story released by Fabiosa Animated on April 27, 2021.

Chloe is the mother of Matt, whose wife (the unnamed main protagonist) gave birth to a Black baby. Matt, out of shock, had a heart attack and fell into a coma, while Chloe lashed out at her daughter-in-law and accused her of cheating on Matt. The wife's narration included a denial of Chloe's accusations, and also revealed that she and Matt had been trying to conceive for a while, with the wife becoming pregnant without the assistance of IVF. The wife voiced her intent to prove to Chloe that Matt was the biological father of her baby, but in response, Chloe turned heel by hiding her daughter-in-law and grandson in her basement.

Chloe claimed that her actions were committed to protect her son's good name, and to cover up her machinations, the villainess claimed that her daughter-in-law was in the hospital, and continued her verbal abuse by stating that the wife brought shame to her family. At that moment, the maniacal Chloe decided to put the baby up for adoption and take in a White baby to replace him, which was followed by the villainess locking her daughter-in-law in the basement so she couldn't escape, further cementing Chloe's heel turn.

The wife's search for a key only resulted in finding a torn photo of an unnamed man, and she later escaped through the window with her son before visiting Matt in the hospital. She took Matt's hair to perform a DNA test for their son, but she had to go alone to get the results, as a blizzard had raged outside. The wife returned with the results, however, she saw Chloe holding a White baby--revealing that she went through with her callous plan to put her grandson up for adoption, and later told her daughter-in-law that the White baby was their new heir.

A frantic search for her son led the wife to find him at a children's home, but he wasn't returned to her as she was accused of leaving him behind. Regarding genetics, the wife knew that she had no Black heritage, and after taking out the torn photo of a Black man that she had found, she realized Chloe was hiding something and decided to investigate. The wife went to an antiques shop, where the owner recognized the man as having lived in the area more than 30 years prior, and had bought a rare and expensive ring. After seeing the photo of the ring, the wife returned home and successfully found the ring in Chloe's jewelry box, which had the engraving "Yours forever, J. Smith."

At that moment, the evil Chloe returned home and called the police on her daughter-in-law, accusing her of being a thief. The wife later found the right "J. Smith" in the form of a wealthy businessman named John Smith, and after calling him, John arrived and met the wife, who revealed everything. As it turned out, John and Chloe had an affair while the latter was married, and Chloe accepted John's marriage proposal. Chloe was set on divorcing her husband to be with John. but after Chloe's parents objected, she ended up staying with her husband. As the DNA test revealed, the Black baby was Matt's son, which also meant that Matt was the result of John and Chloe's affair. However, Matt being born White made it easy for Chloe to cover up her own affair, but her grandson being born Black would expose everything, leading to Chloe's villainous conduct towards her daughter-in-law.

As for Chloe, she was at Matt's bedside when he came out of the coma, and continue to slander her daughter-in-law by informing Matt that his wife ran away with her lover and love child. However, the wife returned with John and displayed the DNA test that revealed the truth, causing Chloe to faint. As the wife's closing narration revealed, not only did she get her true son back, but she took in the White baby as well. Matt and John were making up for lost time, and as for Chloe, she lived in solitude and continue to deny everything she had done.
