The evil and deranged Carol
Carol is the main villainess from I Lost My Beauty Forever Because of Make-Up!, a short story released by Dory Story (release date October 25, 2019).
Carol was introduced as a new classmate of main protagonist Carmen, who sat next to her on her first day at a new school.
As Carmen narrated, Carol had a crush on a boy in their class named Colin, though his main focus was Carmen (who wasn't into him). Carmen was later on the receiving end of notes in her locker who warning her to stay away from Colin, who later approached Carmen and forcibly kissed her, prompting the protagonist run off to the bathroom.
Carmen was mortified to see that her makeup had been messed up as a result of her ordeal with Colin, after which Carol returned Carmen's bag to her and told her to fix her makeup. Carmen followed her classmate's advice, but after putting on her makeup, her face began to break out into a painful and burning rash, causing her to faint due to the immense pain.
She was later hospitalized due to extensive chemical burns, with her eyebrows nearly gone and her skin peeling. After months of intensive care, Carmen was visited by the police, who revealed that the person responsible for her ailment was none other than Carol.
As it turned out, Carol became vengeful and jealous over Carmen getting Colin's attention, and she decided to mix her classmate's makeup with chemicals from their chemistry class while it was indicated that she left the notes on Carmen's locker. The deranged villainess claimed that her plan was to only cause Carmen to have acne, but after seeing the protagonist's skin peeling, she realized what she had done and confessed, claiming that her actions were done accidentally.
Much to Carmen's dismay, the evil Carol didn't receive a day in jail due to her confession and her being an underage teenager like her, though the story later revealed that Carol was attacked in the same way by a vengeful fan of Carmen's Instagram profile.
