Blair Silver (Dressed to Kill)

Blair Silver (Annie Sullivan) is the main villainess from the 2025 film, Dressed to Kill (airdate January 3, 2025).

Introduction[]

Blair Silver is the daughter of Vanessa Silver, the owner/CEO of Silver, a fashion company which had main protagonist Amelia "Amy" Ross as an employee. In the film, Blair is shown being scolded by Vanessa for her partying and her influencing ways, as well as dismissing Blair's plans to help the company. Amy is later promoted after she saves Vanessa during an asthma attack, though the condition had Amy fire her co-worker and best friend, Wanda Lovell. On the following day, Amy is shocked to learn that Vanessa had suddenly passed on due to a severe asthma attack, and later on, it was announced that Blair would receive 10% of the company's shares, while the remaining 90% went to Amy.

Blair was furious over the contents of her mother's will, and antagonized Amy by accusing her of killing Vanessa, while also making attempts to undercut her at a fashion show. The event saw Amy's planned model, Audrey, attacked and later replaced by Blair's friend, Clara, after which Amy lashed out at the pair and accused them of having something to do with the shenanigans. Later that evening, Blair was shown laughing over what happened with Clara, which was followed by the video of Amy's rant to the girls going viral.

Reveal[]

Clara is later strangled to death, with Amy learning not only about Clara's murder, but also Blair suddenly being hospitalized. Amy had suspected that Blair was somehow involved in her mother's death, leading to Amy confronting Blair at her house, where Blair continued to make accusations towards Amy. She later claimed that she noticed a certain perfume on her attacker, with Amy realizing that Wanda donned the same aroma. Amy and her husband, Kevin, returned to shop looking for answers, but when Kevin is attacked, Amy attempted to inform the police, but with no results. Amy returned to the shop suspecting Wanda of being behind everything, only to find Wanda knocked out and was also encountered by the actual killer: Blair.

While armed with a metal pipe, Blair revealed everything; she had killed Vanessa when she took her mother's inhaler following her asthma attack, and she planted the inhaler in Amy's home to set her up. The madwoman also attacked Audrey to get Clara into the show, but once the video of Amy's outburst went viral, Blair turned heel on Clara and strangled her to death to cover her tracks. The plan also included harming herself to continue to set up Amy, and during her admission, the evil Blair stated that she wanted Silver all to herself, feeling that she deserved the company due to being Vanessa's daughter, while voicing her anger at her mother for changing the will. The villainess attempted to kill Amy, while also boasting her claim that she killed Wanda and Kevin, but during the pursuit, Blair was knocked out by Wanda, who (along with Kevin) survived Blair's attack. Afterwards, Blair was handcuffed and arrested.
