Evil vampire queen Beverly Rektor

Beverly Rektor (Malin Akerman) was the main villainess from the 2022 horror-comedy, Slayers.

Beverly Rektor was introduced as the co-owner of a pharmaceutical company alongside her husband, Steven Rektor; in actuality, the Rektors were vampires--with Steven being a descendant of a royal vampire family; described as a Dark Lord by Elliot Jones, an investigative journalist who became a vampire hunter when his daughter was killed by one of Rektor's vampires.

Regarding Beverly, she is a vampire queen due to her marriage to Steven, and the film saw the couple recruit a group of influencers known as "The Stream Team" for a lucrative deal centering on a vaccine that would guarantee absolute immunity. After the group headed to the Rektors' place and was greeted by Beverly, their manager, David Dean, was killed by one of Beverly's vampires, and it was later in the film that Jack Chambers signed a contract with the Rektors, despite the trepidations of his sister, Flynn Chambers.

Beverly later distributed the vaccine to Liz Andrews (Jack's fiancée, which quickly revealed that it was created to turn humans into vampires, with Liz feeling the effects and embracing her new evil nature. After Jack realized that he was set up to be a new host for Steven (whose actual body was aging and dying), he attempted to escape, but after being stopped by Liz, the evil Beverly subdued Jack and held him captive so Steven to could take his body. As Elliot revealed to Flynn, Beverly and Steven both needed new vessels, and planned to used Jack and Flynn because they had a familial connection to the Rektors. During Elliot and Flynn's rescue mission, they learned that Beverly transitioned into a new vessel, revealed to be Liz, but after rescuing Jack, Beverly (among other vampires) was killed in an explosion set off by Elliot.
