Bailee Adams (Briana Femia) is the main villainess from the 2021 Lifetime film, Sisters for Life (alternately titled, Sinister Sorority; airdate August 15, 2021).
Backstory and Introduction[]
Bailee Adams was introduced as a woman pledging to the Beta Delta Chi sorority, with the film seeing Bailee mention her twin sister, who suddenly committed suicide. In actuality, Bailee's true backstory revealed that she and her twin sister were close, though Bailee began to feel abandoned when her sister voiced her plans to move, and in response, Bailee turned heel and strangled her sister to death, and later posed her murder as a suicide.
Bailee became further obsessed with having a "sister," and it was sometime prior to the film's events that she met Lynn Marsh and became her college roommate. Though she displayed a sweet demeanor at first, Bailee later started spending every single moment with Lynn, which even included a family dinner during the Christmas holiday. Bailee's clingy behavior was noticed by Lynn's sister, Violet Marsh, and at some point, Lynn informed Violet via text that she planned on transferring but didn't want Bailee to know. However, Bailee found out about Lynn's plans, and as the film's opening showed, the villainess strangled Lynn to death, with Lynn's death later identified as a suicide.
Events[]
Bailee's appearance at Beta Delta Chi saw her start to befriend sorority member and main protagonist Jana Spicer, who later informed Bailee that the sorority chose Cori Mendell to being a part of legacy, meaning that there was no room for Bailee. The villainess expressed her anger over the development, and later on, Bailee tracked Cori to the parking lot and brutally attacked her before sending her over a ledge, causing Cori to be hospitalized and comatose. As a result, Bailee ended up with the sorority, and she continued to befriend Jana, which included telling Jana about her late sister's "suicide."
However, Bailee saw Jana's best friend, Arielle, as an obstacle in her goal of having Jana as her "sister," mainly due to Arielle noticing Bailee borrowing Jana's clothes. The conniving villainess sabotaged Jana's grant research data and set up Arielle due to the fact that she borrowed Jana's laptop, and later on, Bailee stole money from the sorority's treasury and used it to buy an immense amount of ketamine, which she used to drug fellow sister, Samantha, due to her catching on to Bailee's lies about where she last went to college. Bailee later planted the drugs and remaining stolen money in Arielle's room, and after sorority president Stephanie felt the effects, Arielle was ejected from the sorority after the drug was found, as she was accused of not only drugging Samantha, but also stealing the money to buy the ketamine.
Even with Arielle out of the way, the evil Bailee faced a new threat as Jana was planning to spend a semester away doing research, driving the villainess to use Jana's keycard to access the lab and trash it, while also attacking Jana's research advisor Dr. Leeman when she walked in on her. When Officer Carter came to question Jana about the lab break-in, Bailee stepped in and falsely claimed she was with Jana at the time, justifying her lie to Jana later by claiming she was protecting her. But after Jana told Bailee she wanted some space from her, Bailee went about luring Kyle (Jana's boyfriend) to the showers, brutally attacking him when he rejected her attempted advances. Kyle was later sent to the hospital and put in a coma, and after taunting Kyle, Bailee found out that Cori was in the same hospital, leading to Bailee visiting Cori and feigning concern over the same attack that she caused.
Climax & Arrest[]
The film's climax saw Arielle approach a panicked Jana and reveal Bailee's past, which was followed by the pair visiting Violet at the school's library, where Violet revealed Bailee's past as Lynn's roommate and eventual killer. All the while, Bailee tracked the girls to the library and later confronted Violet before bludgeoning her to death with a book. Afterwards, the maniacal villainess attacked Jana in her room after Jana found incriminating evidence against Bailee in the lockbox she kept under her bed. When Jana woke up, Bailee video-called her through Arielle's phone with the revelation that she had attacked Arielle and was holding her captive, while ordering Jana to come to her alone. Jana arrived armed with a knife, though Bailee had sensed that Jana was armed and ordered her to toss away her weapon.
Bailee revealed her plan for her and Jana to kill Arielle and make it look like a suicide, with the villainess adding that they could become "sisters in blood" if they did so and that if Jana refused, she'd kill both girls and stage it as a murder-suicide committed by Jana. In addition, Bailee revealed that she murdered her sister because she was going to abandon her, and also revealed she'd previously drugged Arielle in the event that Jana refused to go through with killing her. While Arielle initially seemed to be succumbing to the drugs, it was quickly revealed as a ruse, as Arielle helped Jana subdue Bailee, with the brawl seeing Jana pierce Bailee's face with Cori's sorority pin (which Bailee had stolen from her after attacking her).
The villainess pounced on Jana and attempted to kill her, only for Jana to take out the pouch of ketamine she'd found in Bailee's lockbox and force it in to Bailee's mouth, with Bailee feeling the effects and becoming incapacitated. The film's final scene showed Bailee in a psychiatric hospital complimenting the orderly on her work fixing her hair, adding that she considered the orderly her sister, after which Bailee stared outside after she was locked in her room.

Trivia[]
- Just weeks prior, Briana Femia played villainess Sasha Webber in 2021's Malicious Motives.
- Bailee Adams is very similar to fellow Lifetime villainess Bianca Hernandez from 2023's Rooming with Danger. Each villainess lost her sister, and each one attempted to use other girls (including the main protagonist) to fill the void, and would kill them if they were set on ejecting them from their lives. The only difference centers on each of their losses; Bianca's sister was killed in an accident, while Bailee murdered her sister.
