The evil and unnamed Babysitter
The unnamed Babysitter was the main villainess from "Save the Children," a story from Legends of Horror (release date June 29, 2012).
In the story, the babysitter was in charge of a pair of children whose parents were out celebrating their tenth anniversary, but by dinner time, the children noticed that the house was dark, with very few lights on. When they asked their sitter, she replied that she didn't want "him" to find them, revealing "him" as her estranged husband. In addition, the babysitter claimed that her husband was a crazed vampire, stating that he goes crazy after going long periods without feeding.
Knowing that her husband would be after them, the babysitter morbidly suggested that they sacrifice their cat and allow its blood to distract him, only for the children to flatly refuse and run up to their room (with their cat). Afterwards, the sitter was heard loudly banging at the door, only for the children to refuse to open the door out of fear. The knocking continued on until it came to sudden stop, due to the fact that the babysitter had actually died, with the parents returning home and finding her body.
Police were called afterwards, and an officer provided a surprising reveal to the parents. He repeated the children's story about the sitter protecting them from a vampire, only to remind the parents that vampires have to be invited in. In response to the mother's question about the babysitter inviting the vampire in, the officer stated that the sitter made up the whole thing, and regarding the fact that she was found with severed legs, the officer revealed that the deranged madwoman severed them herself, and crawled up the stairs with a knife in hand planning to kill the children. After a series of loud knocks, the villainess (most likely) fatally succumbed to massive blood loss.
