The evil and abusive Ann
Ann is the main villainess from a short story released by Fabiosa Stories on September 22, 2021.
Ann is the foster mother of the story's main protagonist, whose parents (both immigrants) died in a tragic fire. As the story established, Ann abused and scolding her foster daughter, who stated in her narration that Ann forced her to clean toilets under the threat of not feeding her, and even forced her to carry heavy bags of groceries and countered every penny that she spent on her. When Ann spotted her foster daughter giving bread to a homeless woman, the callous villainess took the bread away and scolded the little girl, which also included forcing her run three blocks behind her car in hot weather.
Later on, Ann forced her foster daughter to watch her biological daughter (a newborn), as she fired her babysitter and even forbade the protagonist from attending school. The protagonist's pleas to let her take the final exam were met with arrogant elitism from Ann, who stated that "immigrants" like her are meant to serve people like Ann, not read books. The villainess locked the protagonist inside with her foster sister and went shopping; though, the protagonist snuck out with the newborn and headed to school to take the final exam. However, the little girl was stopped by Ann and a pair of police officers, with the villainess accusing her foster daughter of kidnapping, while the officers sided with Ann.
Ann threatened to send the protagonist to juvenile hall if she disobeyed her again, but while having breakfast, the protagonist accidentally spilled juice on a stack of papers and cleaned it, but was stunned to see her surname on one of them. As it turned out, the paper was a letter written by the little girl's biological father prior to his death, which revealed that he had worked for Ann at a factory that she owned. The father wrote to Ann about finally fixing the broken fire alarm, but in response, the callous woman tossed away the letter, and a day later, the fire started and killed the protagonist's biological parents.
The protagonist took the letter and was about to give it to the police, only to be stopped by Ann, who offered to pay her foster daughter for the letter so she could cover up her complicity. When the little girl refused, the evil Ann attempted to force her into her car, but the protagonist escaped and went to the police with the letter, only to be met with disbelief from the officers due to Ann's status. However, the homeless woman who had encountered them earlier appeared and backed up the protagonist's statements, as she witnessed Ann's attempt to buy the letter from her foster daughter. The officers ended up reading the father's letter, and three months later, Ann was handcuffed and arrested for her negligent role in the deaths of her foster daughter's parents while her biological daughter was taken by her mother.
