Angelica Moore, aka Angela Lesser, is the main villainess from "Drive-In, Check Out," the 16th episode of the crime-solving puzzle game, Small Town Murders: Match 3 (release date January 20, 2021).
Angelica Moore is a famous actress best known for being a scream queen, and her arrival at Thornton Grove had many of the townspeople starstruck, including Nora Mistry, who voiced her fandom while meeting Angelica. Her arrival came just as an investigation involving the murder of Bert Castle, who was running the town's drive-in theater. During Angelica's visit, she acted sweet and charming to everyone around her, with the exception of her assistant, Blake Barrett, who was constantly ordered around by Angelica.
Late one night, Nora and her neighbor, Martha Musgrove, watched Lumberjack 3: Lumberjill, an old horror film, late one night, after Nora borrowed a copy of the film from its director, Hank Lennenhoffer. While watching, the pair were shocked to recognize the actress playing Lumberjill as Angelica, as the film was done prior to her various plastic surgeries. Nora's second visit to Hank's place, this time with deputy Mike Shanahan, confirmed that Angelica was in the film, credited under her real name, Angela Lesser.
In addition, Hank revealed that Angelica wanted to keep her role in the movie a secret, out of fear that it would ruin her career. The revelation that the drive-in was going to play Angelica's early film publicly for the first time led to Angelica being suspected of killing Castle, leading to a sting being set to trap the killer. The trap ended up revealing Blake as the actual killer, though the climax's progression revealed that Blake's actions were committed under Angelica's orders.
As it turned out, Angelica arrived at Thornton Grove looking to possess the three remaining copies of her film, and upon finding out about Castle's plan to play the movie, the villainess enlisted Blake to kill Castle to stop him from making the film public. A familiar ringtone was heard at the scene, which was revealed to be Angelica being in contact with Blake during the murder, and after learning that Hank was at the drive-in (the trap that was set), the evil Angelica sent Blake to eliminate him, only for Blake to be caught.
Blake refused to give up Angelica, who later arrived and complained about a boot being place on her limousine, as it was parked in a police zone. The arrogant villainous lashed out at Tess, the town's new sergeant, for placing the boot on her car, after which she phoned Blake. As she did so, the familiar ringtone played, which officially ousted Angelica as the murderous mastermind, and she was arrested shortly after Blake. During her arrest, Angelica referred to herself as the "nation's sweetheart," while threatening to ruin Thornton Grove's police department, as well as Nora.
