Angela Daniels (Liz DeCoudres) is the hidden main villainess from the 2024 Lifetime film, Who's Stalking My Family? (airdate November 7, 2024).
Backstory and Introduction[]
Angela Daniels is the widowed mother of Colton Daniels, however, her backstory went on to reveal that she was actually Colton's adopted mother. Colton was actually the biological son of main protagonist Liz Miller (nee Davis), though Liz gave up her baby (who she thought was a baby girl) for adoption, with Angela and her husband taking in Colton and raising him. However, at some point, Colton's adopted father was set on leaving Angela for another woman, and after finding out, Angela turned heel and killed her husband by shoving him down a flight of stairs.
Events[]
In the time that passed, Angela has raised Colton on her own, but Colton had discovered the adoption papers and found out that Ivy was his birth mother. Angela and Colton moved closer to Ivy's vicinity, with the latter convincing his mother to do so to further his baseball aspirations. In actuality, Colton's true motivation was to become closer to Ivy, and regarding Angela, she began to realize the truth after seeing Colton spend so much time with Ivy and her daughter (Colton's sister), Sadie. In a fit of manic rage, Angela turned heel once again by planning to eliminate Ivy so she could have Colton to herself, with the madwoman beginning her scheme by planning to burn down Ivy's home, only to be caught by Ivy's elderly neighbor, after which Angela bludgeoned the elderly man to death with a gas can.
Angela continued to portray a concerned mother to Colton, but late one night, the maniacal villainess attacked Angela as she was leaving her workplace. Ivy began to suspect that Colton was the one stalking her, out of a belief that he was infatuated with her, and even informed Angela, who continuously scolded Colton and told him to stay away from Ivy and Sadie. However, after seeing that Colton was still hanging around with the Millers, the evil Angela continued her murderous quest and stalked Ivy as she was on her date with Leo, and used her husband's gun to attempt to kill Ivy, only to end up shooting Leo, who survived.
Reveal and Arrest[]
Angela's plan was to frame Pete Kennedy, the abusive husband of Lily Kennedy (Ivy's sister), though Ivy learned that Pete was killed in a car accident 12 hours before Leo was shot. The film's climax saw Colton appear to Ivy, who ejected Colton before she heard Colton shout that he was her son. After Colton was invited inside the house, he informed Ivy that Angela had been behind everything, and had been planning to kill Ivy due to her possessive nature, all the while, Sadie appeared at Angela's house and informed her that Colton told her everything. Angela acted warm at first, but unleashed her psychotic demeanor after Sadie figured out that Angela had killed Colton's father. The villainess chased Sadie to the garage and knocked her out with a crowbar before placing her in the trunk of her car.
Later on, Ivy and Colton headed to the latter's house and confronted Angela about Sadie's whereabouts, with Angela repeatedly denying ever seeing Sadie. Colton informed his adopted mother that he had known about her evil actions, only for Angela to lash out at Colton for lying about his reasons for moving, while also admitting to killing her husband. In addition, Angela also boldly admitted to the attempts on Ivy, saying that she wasn't going to lose Colton to another woman just as she lost her husband to one. Ivy found Sadie in the trunk of Angela's car, and it was followed by the deranged Angela charging at both women with a crowbar.
The insane villainess stated that Colton was hers, and later lashed out at Ivy (who told Angela that she had already called the police) for not wanting Colton before planning to kill both Ivy and Sadie. At that moment, Colton appeared and talked Angela down by reminding her of all of the good things she had done for him, after which Angela dropped her crowbar and hugged her son. Angela was later arrested (off-screen) for her pair of murders, and the various other crimes she had committed.
