Alyssa Winters, aka Victoria Daniels (Meghan Carrasquillo), is the main villainess from the 2023 Lifetime film, Her Affair to Die For (airdate February 23, 2023).
Backstory and Introduction[]
Not much is revealed about Victoria Daniels' backstory, only that her parents divorced and she lost her father at a young age. In adulthood, Victoria worked as a nurse, but she would develop an obsession with wanting to be loved and shown affection. She began an affair with Jason Allers, though when Jason ended things to be with his wife, she became villainous and started stalking the couple. The deranged madwoman pursued the couple and eventually killed Grace Allers, while Jason ended up in a wheelchair, but once she became targeted by local police, Victoria killed her roommate, Alyssa Winters, and escaped with her identity.
The renamed Alyssa appeared as a potential roommate for Christina Davis (the film's secondary protagonist), who happily chose Alyssa after being charmed by her. She was turned off by Christina's friend, Craig Porter, with Alyssa revealing that her last boyfriend (Jason) was a doctor; adding that the relationship ended badly. Within moments of meeting Christina's father, Noah Davis (the film's main protagonist), Alyssa became taken by Noah and began her plan to become his lover, which began with targeting Noah's assistant, Patricia Burns, and triggering her peanut allergy. As a result of Patricia being hospitalized, Alyssa filled in as Noah's assistant, while also working as a nurse at the same hospital as Craig, who asked her out.
Though Alyssa was seeing Craig, her obsession with Noah remained, as she drew herself closer to Noah as his marriage to his wife (and Christina's mother) Liz continued to suffer after he was passed over for a promotion, which went to co-worker Peter Buchanan. Alyssa decided to target Peter for revenge, with her plan beginning with seducing Peter at a bar, where the villainess spiked his drink. She later tracked Peter as he felt the effects and ended up killed when he crashed his car, which was followed by Alyssa admiring her villainous handiwork.
Climax and Arrest[]
Noah's promotion and his jealousy of Liz's business partner, Sam Harrison, further damaged the marriage, and after Alyssa comforted Noah, the pair engaged in an illicit tryst. Upon learning about her father's dalliance, Christina confronted the pair, only for Alyssa to admonish Christina and accuse her of disrespecting Noah. Christina slapped Alyssa, who voiced her indignance towards Noah, but later on, Noah found himself improving his marriage to Liz, with their bond drawing fury from Alyssa, who stalked the couple and confronted Noah. The confrontation resulted in Noah ending things with Alyssa, though Liz found out about the affair afterwards.
A vengeful Alyssa ordered Craig to kill Liz, doing so by blackmailing Craig with her knowledge of his role in sabotaging Noah. The attack left Liz hospitalized, and afterwards, Craig met with Alyssa and asked her to delete the video evidence against him, only for the villainess to refuse to do so. An angry Craig informed Alyssa that he planted the knife in her car, and afterwards, the evil Alyssa killed Craig before attempting to visit Liz, only to be stopped by Noah, after which Alyssa claimed that she was pregnant with Noah's child. Later on, Alyssa entered the Davis household and knocked Noah out before grabbing a knife and attempting to kill Liz.
Christina arrived and took down Alyssa with a fireplace poker, while Liz pleaded with her daughter to go easy on Alyssa due to her pregnancy. However, the insane madwoman revealed that she wasn't pregnant, and when asked for a reason for actions, Alyssa simply said that she wanted to be loved, right before she was handcuffed and arrested.

Trivia[]
- This was Meghan Carrasquillo’s first villainous Lifetime movie role.
- Alyssa Winters is similar to fellow Lifetime villainess Ava Andor from 2021's Designed for Death, both women allegedly have a secret relationship with their respective film's protagonists, while having befriended the protagonist's daughter. The only difference was Ava tied and kidnapped both of them during the quest, Alyssa never successfully did.
