Allison DuBois as a dream sequence villainess
Allison DuBois (Patricia Arquette) is the main protagonist of the NBC (later CBS) series, Medium; however, in episode 3.13, "Second Opinion" (airdate February 21, 2007), Allison appeared as a villainess in one of her dreams.
The episode began with one of Allison's dreams, which took place 20 years from the episode's events, and saw Marie DuBois (Allison and Joe DuBois' youngest daughter), at the hospital dying of leukemia. Allison wakes up in tears, and later on, a second dream shows Marie's progress worsening, with Allison later informing Joe that they shouldn't have lived in that house, leading Allison to believe that something in their house would cause Marie's leukemia.
In the third and final dream, Marie had passed on, and Allison was shown angrily confronting David Channing, the oncologist in charge of Marie's care. Channing revealed to Allison that she was in violation of the restraining order against the hospital, only for Allison to rant that Channing caused Marie's death, doing so in response to Channing's statements that he did all he could. Allison dared Channing to call the police, only for Channing to inform her to speak to his lawyer before walking off. At that moment, Allison turned heel by taking out a handgun and shooting Channing to death, after which Allison woke up from her latest dream.
