The evil Alison Wheeler
Alison Wheeler (Rachel Bilson) is the main villainess from "Danny's Story," episode 1.03 of Accused (airdate January 31, 2023).
Introduction[]
The episode's early scenes introduced Alison as the Wheelers' live-in nurse, as she was in charge of tending to Isabel Wheeler, who was terminally ill. Isabel dies suddenly, leaving her older son, Danny Wheeler, the most distraught out of the remaining family members, which consisted of his younger brother, Matthew Wheeler, and their father, John Wheeler. As for Alison, she attended the funeral with the family, but Danny noticed Alison breaking out into a half smirk, leading Danny to suspect that Alison killed his mother.
Following the funeral, Danny learns that John and Alison became a couple, and while Matthew quickly bonds with Alison, Danny maintained his suspicions and was angry over the relationship. Danny's suspicions increase when Chester, the family dog, is suddenly killed, with Alison claiming that that he was struck by an unknown driver, and it's followed by Danny suddenly developing stomach pains, which came after he accused Alison of lying about Chester and revealing that Alison hated their dog. After being served a bowl of oatmeal from Alison, Danny pours the concoction in a case and pleads with a schoolmate to get it tested, only to drop the container during the argument, which saw his claims disbelieved.

The episode's climax saw Danny reveal his belief to the rest of the family, and wielded a knife as he repeated his accusation against Alison, who ended up stabbed by Danny, who ended up arrested afterwards. The episode's opening and climax showed Danny in prison, where he refused a psychiatric evaluation, but ended up taking one after Matthew pleaded with his brother. Alison was shown in attendance with John and Matthew at Danny's trial, having survived the stabbing, and six months later, Alison visited Danny at a psychiatric hospital.
Alison informed Danny that his illness caused him to attack her, and that she recovered, but she later revealed to Danny that John died of a heart attack after their honeymoon, and consoled her stepson afterwards. In response to Danny's question about Matthew, Alison informed Danny that Matthew had been ill with stomach pains--the same thing that befell Danny, who lunged at Alison in anger. Alison turned heel in the process, as the statement confirmed Danny's suspicions that she killed Isabel in order to marry into the family.
In addition, the villainess killed Chester (as she despised Chester due to his incessant barking at her) and poisoned Danny when he became suspicious. Alison married John after Danny was committed, and afterwards, she killed John and began poisoning Matthew as well. The villainess feigned shock over Danny's outburst and told the main orderly to give Danny whatever help he needed, and after Danny was sedated, the evil Alison informed her stepson that he was safe and that she wouldn't give up, no matter how long it took, giving an evil smile at Danny during the episode's final scene.
